All Judah rejoiced about the oath because they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They sought God eagerly, and he was found by them. So the Lord gave them rest on every side.

All the people of Judah were happy about the promise they had made. They turned to God with all their heart. When they did, they found him. So the Lord gave them peace and rest on every side.

但他們在急難的時候歸向耶和華－以色列的上帝，尋求他，他就被他們尋見。

他們立約，要盡心盡性尋求耶和華－他們列祖的上帝。

我們所誇的是：我們在世為人，特別是跟你們的關係，是憑着上帝所賜的坦率和真誠，不是靠人的聰明，而是靠上帝的恩惠；這是我們的良心可以作證的。

希西家和眾百姓都因上帝為百姓所預備的而喜樂，因為這事辦得很迅速。

耶何耶大與眾百姓，又與王立約，要作耶和華的子民。於是眾百姓到巴力廟去，拆毀了廟，打碎祭壇和偶像，又在壇前把巴力的祭司瑪坦殺了。耶何耶大派官員在利未家的祭司手下看守耶和華的殿，他們是大衛所分派的，在耶和華殿中照摩西律法上所寫，獻燔祭給耶和華，又按大衛所定的，歡樂歌唱。耶何耶大又設立守衛把守耶和華殿的各門，無論因何事而不潔淨的人，都不准進去。他又率領百夫長和貴族，與民間的官長，以及國中的眾百姓，請王從耶和華的殿下來，由上門正中進入王宮，使王坐在國度的王位上。國中的眾百姓都歡樂，合城也都平靜。他們已將亞她利雅用刀殺了。

我不在隱密黑暗之地說話，也沒有對雅各的後裔說，『你們尋求我是徒然的』，我－耶和華所講的是公義，所說的是正直。」

我處在兩難之間：我情願離世與基督同在，因為這是好得無比的；

他安靜，誰能定罪呢？他轉臉，誰能見他呢？無論一國或一人都是如此。

你和利未人，以及在你中間寄居的，要因耶和華－你上帝所賜你和你家的一切福分歡樂。

耶和華啊，我們在你行審判的路上等候你，我們心裏所渴慕的，就是你的名和你的稱號。

現在我心中有意與耶和華－以色列的上帝立約，好使他的烈怒轉離我們。

耶和華使以色列人從四圍所有的仇敵中得享安寧，已經有很多日子了。約書亞年紀老邁，

他們被破壞殆盡，這國攻擊那國，這城攻擊那城，因為上帝用各樣災難擾亂他們。

他出來迎接亞撒，對他說：「亞撒，猶大和便雅憫眾人哪，要聽我說：你們若順從耶和華，耶和華必與你們同在；你們若尋求他，就必尋見；你們若離棄他，他必離棄你們。

尼希米省長、以斯拉祭司文士，和教導百姓的利未人對眾百姓說：「今日是耶和華－你們上帝的聖日，不要悲哀，也不要哭泣。」這是因為眾百姓聽見律法書上的話都哭了。

她的道是安樂，她的路全是平安。

義人哪，你們應當靠耶和華歡喜快樂，心裏正直的人哪，你們都當歡呼。

你公義的典章，我曾起誓遵守，我必按着誓言而行。

我以你的法度為永遠的產業，因這是我心中所喜愛的。
