All who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, were to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman.

All those who wouldn’t obey the Lord, the God of Israel, would be killed. It wouldn’t matter how important they were. It wouldn’t matter whether they were men or women.

but that whoever would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether young or old, man or woman.

They agreed that anyone who refused to seek the Lord, the God of Israel, would be put to death— whether young or old, man or woman.

Whoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel would be put to death, young or old, man or woman.

and whoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel was to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman.

and that whosoever would not seek Jehovah, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

“祭拜耶和华以外的其他任何神明的人，必须被处死。

耶和华要赐福给一切敬畏祂的人，不分尊贵卑贱。

以利亚对他们说：“抓住巴力的先知，别放走一个人！”众人就抓住他们，以利亚把他们带到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。

必须处死那些先知或解梦的人，因为他们怂恿你们背叛你们的上帝耶和华、偏离祂吩咐你们当走的道路。你们的上帝耶和华曾带你们离开埃及，救你们脱离奴役。你们必须清除你们当中的邪恶。“如果你们的兄弟、儿女、爱妻或挚友引诱你们去拜你们和你们祖先都不认识的神明，引诱你们去拜你们周围各族的神明，或在附近或远在天边，你们不可迁就、听从他们，不可怜惜他们，不可放过或包庇他们。必须处死他们。你们要首先下手，然后众人一起打死他们。你们要用石头打死他们，因为他们企图使你们背弃你们的上帝耶和华，祂曾把你们从受奴役之地——埃及领出来。这样，所有以色列人听了就会害怕，必无人再敢做这种恶事。“在你们的上帝耶和华将要赐给你们居住的各城中，如果你们听说某城里有恶人引诱城中的居民偏离正路，唆使他们去供奉你们不认识的神明，

你们中间，不论男人或女人，家族或支派，切不可有人背弃我们的上帝耶和华，去祭拜列国的神明，免得你们中间有残根长出苦毒的果实，

“如果有人在你们的上帝耶和华将要赐给你们的各城镇做祂视为恶的事，违背祂的约，不遵守祂的禁令，去供奉和祭拜其他神明，祭拜日、月或星辰，你们得知后，必须彻底调查。如果属实，在以色列确实有人做这种可憎之事，就要把那人带到城门口，用石头打死他。

然而，我靠着上帝的帮助，到今天还能站在这里向所有尊卑老幼做见证。我讲的不外乎众先知和摩西说过要发生的事，

我又看见死去的人，不论尊卑老少，都站在宝座前面。案卷都展开了，另有一卷，就是生命册也打开了。死去的人都要凭案卷中有关他们行为的记录受审判。

祂不偏袒王侯，也不轻贫重富，因为他们都是祂亲手造的。

到了半夜，耶和华把所有埃及人的长子都杀了，包括坐王位的法老的长子、牢中囚犯的长子和一切头生的牲畜。

尊贵与卑贱的人都在那里，奴仆不再受主人的辖制。

并让门外的人，不论老少都眼目昏花，摸来摸去也找不着罗得家的门。

地上的君王、显贵、将领、富豪、有势力的、一切奴隶和自由人都躲藏在山洞里和岩穴间。
