他們被點閱的數目按他們父系的家屬記在下面：屬猶大的千夫長以押拿為軍長，跟隨他的是有力氣英勇的人三十萬；其次是軍長約哈難，跟隨他的有二十八萬人；其次是細基利的兒子亞瑪斯雅、一個自願奉獻給永恆主的人，跟隨他的是有力氣英勇的人二十萬。屬便雅憫的是有力氣英勇的人以利雅大；跟隨他的有能拉弓能拿盾牌的二十萬；其次是約薩拔，跟隨他的有武裝好好、準備着打仗的人十八萬。以上這些人都是伺候着王的。還有王在猶大全地的堡壘城所派置的、不在其內。

亞瑪謝招集了猶大人、按着他們父系的家屬為猶大和便雅憫眾人設立了千夫長百夫長，又點閱他們、從二十歲和以上的、能出去打仗、能拿槍或大盾牌的、有三十萬精兵。
