那人回答：“不是的；我現在來是作耶和華軍隊的元帥。”約書亞就臉伏在地，向他下拜，對他說：“我主有甚麼事要吩咐僕人呢？”

他心裡有智慧，而且有極大的能力，有誰對他剛硬而平安無事呢？

願他樂意把我壓碎，願他放手把我剪除。

求你饒恕你婢女的過犯。耶和華必為我主建立一個堅固的家，因為我主為耶和華爭戰；在你一生的日子裡，在你身上也找不到甚麼過錯。

他們又攻擊基拉耳周圍的一切城市，因為各城的人都懼怕耶和華。猶大人又把各城洗掠一空，因為城中的財物甚多。

當主來的時候，他們要受永遠沉淪的懲罰，就是離開主的面和他權能的榮光。在那一天，他要在聖徒身上得著榮耀，又要在所有信徒身上受到尊崇（你們也在他們當中，因為你們信了我們向你們所作的見證）。

以下是挪亞的兒子閃、含、雅弗的後代。洪水以後，他們都生了兒子。

那時，天天都有人投奔大衛，要幫助他，以致成了一支大軍，好像神的軍兵一樣。

神啊！你不是把我們丟棄了嗎？神啊！你不和我們的軍隊一同出戰嗎？
