因此，耶穌不再在猶太人中間公開活動，卻離開那裡，到曠野附近的地方去；到了一座名叫以法蓮的城，就和門徒住在那裡。

約書亞佔領了這城，抓住這城的王，又佔領了屬於這城的一切城鎮；以色列人用刀擊殺他們，把城中所有的人都毀滅了；約書亞不容一人逃脫，他怎樣對待希伯崙，也照樣對待底璧和底璧的王；也好像他對待立拿和立拿的王一樣。
