耶和華本為善，在患難的日子為人的保障，並且認得那些投靠他的人。

希西家倚靠耶和華－以色列的神，在他前後的猶大列王中沒有一個及他的。

古實人、路比人的軍隊不是甚大嗎？戰車馬兵不是極多嗎？只因你仰賴耶和華，他便將他們交在你手裏。耶和華的眼目遍察全地，要顯大能幫助向他心存誠實的人。你這事行得愚昧；此後，你必有爭戰的事。」

以雅各的神為幫助、仰望耶和華－他神的，這人便為有福！

次日清早，眾人起來往提哥亞的曠野去。出去的時候，約沙法站着說：「猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，要聽我說：信耶和華－你們的神就必立穩；信他的先知就必亨通。」

尼布甲尼撒說：「沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌的神是應當稱頌的！他差遣使者救護倚靠他的僕人，他們不遵王命，捨去己身，在他們神以外不肯事奉敬拜別神。

叫他的榮耀從我們這首先在基督裏有盼望的人可以得着稱讚。
