走到第七次，祭司吹响了号角，约书亚吩咐民众说：“吶喊吧！因为耶和华已经将这城交给你们了。

于是，耶和华的天使到亚述营中杀了十八万五千人。人们清早起来，发现到处是尸体。

愿那些敬畏耶和华的人说：“祂的慈爱永远长存。”我在苦难中求告耶和华，祂就答应我，救我脱离困境。有耶和华与我同在，我必不惧怕，人能把我怎么样？耶和华与我同在，帮助我，我必看见那些恨我的人一败涂地。

进攻西西拉。耶和华使西西拉的战车和军队惊慌失措，败在巴拉刀下。西西拉弃车徒步逃跑，

约沙法与众人商议后，就派歌乐手穿上圣洁的礼服走在军队前面，赞美耶和华，说：“你们要称谢耶和华，因祂的慈爱永远长存！”

乃缦是亚兰王的元帅，甚得亚兰王器重，因为耶和华借他使亚兰人打了许多胜仗。他是英勇的战士，只是患了麻风病。

万民啊，你们要鼓掌，向上帝高声欢呼！

耶和华把敌军交在以色列人手中，以色列人打败了他们，追杀他们直到西顿大城、米斯利弗·玛音和东面的米斯巴谷，全部消灭了他们，一个没留。

这些耶和华为以色列会众攻取的地方适于放牧，而仆人们有许多牲畜。
