尽管他们在各国贿买盟友，如今我却要把他们聚集起来，审判他们。他们必因君王和首领的欺压而日渐衰微。

今天，我们沦为奴隶，在你赐给我们祖先的土地上，在你让我们祖先享用其出产和各样美物的土地上，我们沦为奴隶。

耶和华啊，求你公正地惩罚我，不要带着怒气惩罚我，否则我将不复存在。

耶和华为了考验那些没有经历过迦南战事的以色列人，让他们学习作战，就留下了以下各族：
