When the Lord saw that they had humbled themselves, the word of the Lord came to Shemaiah, saying,“ They have humbled themselves, so I will not destroy them; and I will grant them a little deliverance, and My wrath will not be poured out on Jerusalem by means of Shishak.

耶和華見其如是、則命先知示罵雅曰、彼卑以自牧、我不殲滅、乃必拯救、不假手於示撒、洩怒於耶路撒冷。

When the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, this word of the Lord came to Shemaiah:“ Since they have humbled themselves, I will not destroy them but will soon give them deliverance. My wrath will not be poured out on Jerusalem through Shishak.

The Lord saw they had made themselves humble. So he gave a message to Shemaiah. The Lord said,“ They have made themselves humble in my sight. So I will not destroy them. Instead, I will soon save them. Even though I am very angry with Jerusalem, I will not use Shishak to destroy them.

When the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the Lord came to Shemaiah:“ They have humbled themselves. I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance, and my wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.

When the Lord saw their change of heart, he gave this message to Shemaiah:“ Since the people have humbled themselves, I will not completely destroy them and will soon give them some relief. I will not use Shishak to pour out my anger on Jerusalem.

And when Jehovah saw that they humbled themselves, the word of Jehovah came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves: I will not destroy them; but I will grant them some deliverance, and my wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.

And when the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves;[ therefore] I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance; and my wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.

When the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, he gave this message to Shemaiah:“ They have humbled themselves, so I will not destroy them. I will deliver them soon. My anger will not be unleashed against Jerusalem through Shishak.

When Yahweh saw that they humbled themselves, Yahweh’s word came to Shemaiah, saying,“ They have humbled themselves. I will not destroy them; but I will grant them some deliverance, and my wrath won’t be poured out on Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.

Since they have abandoned Me and have burned incense to other gods, so that they may provoke Me to anger with all the works of their hands, My wrath will be poured out on this place and it will not be quenched.” ’

Then the sons of Israel said to the Lord,“ We have sinned, do to us whatever seems good to You; only please save us this day.”So they removed the foreign gods from among them and served the Lord; and He could no longer endure the misery of Israel.

So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth; and a harmful and painful sore afflicted the people who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image.The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood like that of a dead man; and every living thing in the sea died.Then the third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of waters; and they became blood.And I heard the angel of the waters saying,“ Righteous are You, the One who is and who was, O Holy One, because You judged these things;for they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. They deserve it.”And I heard the altar saying,“ Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.”And the fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given power to scorch people with fire.And the people were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory.And the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues because of pain,and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pain and their sores; and they did not repent of their deeds.The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east.And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs;for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the entire world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.(“ Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes, so that he will not walk about naked and people will not see his shame.”)And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har Magedon.Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl upon the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying,“ It is done.”

Pour out Your wrath upon the nations which do not know You, And upon the kingdoms which do not call upon Your name.

The Lord relented of this.“ This too shall not be,” said the Lord God.So He showed me, and behold, the Lord was standing by a vertical wall with a plumb line in His hand.And the Lord said to me,“ What do you see, Amos?” And I said,“ A plumb line.” Then the Lord said,“ Behold I am about to put a plumb line In the midst of My people Israel. I will not spare them any longer.

But the Lord was gracious to them and had compassion on them and turned to them because of His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and He was unwilling to eliminate them or cast them away from His presence until now.

I will set out and go to my father, and will say to him,“ Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight;I am no longer worthy to be called your son; treat me as one of your hired laborers.” ’So he set out and came to his father. But when he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.And the son said to him,‘ Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

“ Go, inquire of the Lord for me and for those who are left in Israel and Judah, concerning the words of the book which has been found; for the wrath of the Lord which has poured out on us is great, because our fathers have not kept the word of the Lord, to act in accordance with everything that is written in this book.”

Only acknowledge your wrongdoing, That you have revolted against the Lord your God, And have scattered your favors to the strangers under every leafy tree, And you have not obeyed My voice,’ declares the Lord.

Then Jehoahaz appeased the Lord, and the Lord listened to him; for He saw the oppression of Israel, how the king of Aram oppressed them.And the Lord gave Israel a savior, so that they escaped from under the hand of the Arameans; and the sons of Israel lived in their tents as previously.Nevertheless they did not abandon the sins of the house of Jeroboam, into which he misled Israel; rather, they walked in them; and the Asherah also remained standing in Samaria.For he left to Jehoahaz no more of the army than fifty horsemen, ten chariots, and ten thousand infantry, because the king of Aram had eliminated them and made them like the dust at threshing.

Therefore this is what the Lord God says:“ Behold, My anger and My wrath will be poured out on this place, on human and animal life, and on the trees of the field and the fruit of the ground; and it will burn and not be quenched.”

But He, being compassionate, forgave their wrongdoing and did not destroy them; And often He restrained His anger And did not stir up all His wrath.

I also was acting with hostility against them, to bring them into the land of their enemies— or if their uncircumcised heart is humbled so that they then make amends for their wrongdoing,then I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and I will remember also My covenant with Isaac, and My covenant with Abraham as well, and I will remember the land.

So He poured out on him the heat of His anger And the fierceness of battle; And it set him aflame all around, Yet he did not recognize it; And it burned him, but he paid no attention.

he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,“ Do you see how Ahab has humbled himself before Me? Because he has humbled himself before Me, I will not bring the disaster in his days; I will bring the disaster upon his house in his son’s days.”
