They hadn’t been faithful to the Lord. So Shishak attacked Jerusalem. It was in the fifth year that Rehoboam was king. Shishak was king of Egypt.

爾之罪惡必自懲、爾之悖逆必自責、可知離棄爾上帝耶和華、不存寅畏之心、乃惡而且苦之事、萬軍之主耶和華言之矣、

且諸祭司長與民眾、大干罪戾、從異邦可憎之事、污耶和華在耶路撒冷區別為聖之室、其列祖之上帝耶和華、矜恤其民、與其居所、夙興遣使以戒之、惟彼訕笑上帝之使、藐視其言、譏其先知、致耶和華之怒及於其民、無可救治、故上帝使迦勒底王來攻之、以刃戮其丁壯於其聖室、不恤幼男少女、老人白叟、俱付其手、上帝室中大小器皿、以及寶物、並王與牧伯之寶物、悉攜至巴比倫、且焚上帝室、毀耶路撒冷城垣、爇其宮室、壞其珍器、

因爾所行之惡、所作可憎之事、耶和華不能復忍、故爾土地成為荒蕪、可駭可詛、無人居處、有如今日、爾曹焚香、獲罪於耶和華、不從耶和華之言、不遵其律例、典章法度、故遘此災、有如今日、○

若爾背逆、棄我所示爾之典章誡命、往事他神、而崇拜之、我必自我所賜之地、拔其根株、棄此為我名區別為聖之室、而不之顧、使於列國中、作諺語、為話柄、

我子所羅門歟、當識爾父之上帝、盡心樂意以事之、蓋耶和華鑒察眾心、洞悉意想、爾若尋之、則必遇之、爾若棄之、彼必永久棄爾、

惟民叛逆、使其聖神懷憂、故轉為讐、而自攻之、

其地且有孌童、眾行異邦可憎之事、即耶和華於以色列人前、所逐諸族之事、○羅波安王五年、埃及王示撒、上攻耶路撒冷、掠耶和華室及王宮之寶物、悉攜之去、又掠所羅門所製之金干、

違棄耶和華、而崇事巴力、暨亞斯他錄、耶和華怒以色列族、付於虜者之手、鬻於四周之敵、使不能禦之、無論何往、耶和華以災禍擊之、如其誓言、民極困苦、

我心之樂已息、舞蹈變為哀悼兮、

上帝屢援之、惟彼謀逆、因其罪戾、至於卑微兮、然猶聽其呼籲、恤其患難兮、

惟彼弗順、叛逆乎爾、背爾法律、爾之先知勸令歸爾、彼乃殺之、大干震怒、故爾付於敵手、而困苦之、窘迫之時、彼呼籲爾、爾則自天垂聽、依爾鴻慈、賜以救者、拯之於敵手、
