‘ This is what the Lord says: Do not go up to fight against your fellow Israelites. Go home, every one of you, for this is my doing.’” So they obeyed the words of the Lord and turned back from marching against Jeroboam.

‘ This is what the LORD says: You are not to march up and fight against your brothers. Each of you return home, for this incident has come from me.’” So they listened to what the LORD said and turned back from going against Jeroboam.

‘ Yahweh says,“ You shall not go up, nor fight against your brothers! Every man return to his house; for this thing is of me.”’” So they listened to Yahweh’s words, and returned from going against Jeroboam.

从前你们有意要害我，但神在其中有他的美意，为要成就今日这样的结果，使许多人得以存活。

耶和华的谋略确立，直到永远；他心里的意念存到万代。

总而言之，你们大家都要心思一致，互相同情，相爱如弟兄，心存怜悯，满有谦卑。

我说这话，是为了使你们羞愧。难道你们中间没有一个智慧人，能在他的弟兄之间分辨是非吗？你们竟然弟兄控告弟兄，而且告到了不信的人面前！所以，你们彼此告状，对你们已经是一个全然的失败。你们为什么不情愿受委屈呢？为什么不情愿受亏负呢？然而你们却委屈人、亏负人，况且这是对你们的弟兄！

你们当常存弟兄之爱。

第二天，一些同胞在争斗，摩西就出来，劝他们和睦，说：‘各位！你们是同胞，为什么互相欺负呢？’
