Rehoboam married Mahalath. She was the daughter of David’s son Jerimoth. Her mother was Abihail. Abihail was the daughter of Jesse’s son Eliab.

Rehoboam took as wife Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David, and of Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse,

他们来的时候，撒母耳看见以利押，就心里说，耶和华的受膏者必定在他面前。

耶西的三个大儿子跟随扫罗出征。这出征的三个儿子：长子名叫以利押，次子名叫亚比拿达，三子名叫沙玛。

管犹大人的是大卫的一个哥哥以利户；管以萨迦人的是米迦勒的儿子暗利；

大卫的长兄以利押听见大卫与他们所说的话，就向他发怒，说：“你下来做什么呢？在旷野的那几只羊，你交托了谁呢？我知道你的骄傲和你心里的恶意，你下来特为要看争战！”
