Those from every tribe of Israel who set their hearts on seeking the Lord, the God of Israel, followed the Levites to Jerusalem to offer sacrifices to the Lord, the God of their ancestors.

Some people from every tribe in Israel followed the Levites to Jerusalem. With all their hearts they wanted to worship the Lord. He is the God of Israel. They came to Jerusalem to offer sacrifices to him. He was the God of their people of long ago.

And those who had set their hearts to seek the Lord God of Israel came after them from all the tribes of Israel to Jerusalem to sacrifice to the Lord, the God of their fathers.

And after them out of all the tribes of Israel such as set their hearts to seek the LORD God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the LORD God of their fathers.

After them, out of all the tribes of Israel, those who set their hearts to seek Yahweh, the God of Israel, came to Jerusalem to sacrifice to Yahweh, the God of their fathers.

他又召集猶大和便雅憫眾人，以及他們中間寄居的以法蓮人、瑪拿西人、西緬人。有許多以色列人歸順亞撒，因為他們看見耶和華－他的上帝與他同在。

現在，萬軍之耶和華如此說，你們要省察自己的行為。

現在你們應當立定心意，尋求耶和華－你們的上帝。你們當起來建造耶和華上帝的聖所，好將耶和華的約櫃和上帝神聖的器皿都搬進為耶和華的名建造的殿裏。」

王聽見這話，就甚愁煩，一心要救但以理，直到日落的時候，他還在籌劃解救他。

上帝啊，我心堅定；我口要唱詩歌頌！

不要仗勢欺人，也不要因搶奪而驕傲；若財寶加增，不要放在心上。

但耶和華－你們的上帝在你們各支派中選擇何處作為立他名的居所，你們就要到那裏求問，將你們的燔祭、祭物、十一奉獻、手中的舉祭、還願祭、甘心祭，以及牛羣羊羣中頭生的，都帶到那裏。

他若專心為己，將靈和氣收歸自己，

從以法蓮、瑪拿西、以薩迦、西布倫來的許多百姓尚未自潔，他們卻吃逾越節的羔羊，不合所寫的條例。希西家為他們禱告說：「求至善的耶和華饒恕那凡專心尋求上帝耶和華－他列祖的上帝，卻未照聖所潔淨禮自潔的人。」

要將耶和華的名所當得的榮耀歸給他，拿供物來獻在他面前；當敬拜神聖榮耀的耶和華。

靠你有力量、心中嚮往錫安大道的，這人有福了！他們經過「流淚谷」，叫這谷變為泉源之地；且有秋雨之福蓋滿了全谷。他們行走，力上加力，各人到錫安朝見上帝。

你要謹慎，不可在自己所看中的各處獻燔祭。惟獨耶和華從你的一個支派中所選擇的地方，你要在那裏獻燔祭，在那裏遵行我一切所吩咐你的。

對他們說：「我今日以這一切話警戒你們，你們都要記在心中，要吩咐你們的子孫謹守遵行這律法上一切的話。

他到了那裏，看見上帝所賜的恩就歡喜，勸勉眾人要立定心志，恆久靠主。

他們吞吃我百姓的贖罪祭，滿心願意我的子民犯罪。

但那不把耶和華這話放在心上的，就把他的奴僕和牲畜留在田裏。

撒母耳對以色列全家說：「你們若全心回轉歸向耶和華，就要從你們中間除掉外邦的神明和亞斯她錄，預備你們的心歸向耶和華，單單事奉他，他必救你們脫離非利士人的手。」以色列人就除掉諸巴力和亞斯她錄，單單事奉耶和華。

然而亞設、瑪拿西、西布倫中也有人謙卑自己，來到耶路撒冷。

那時你們要將我所吩咐你們的燔祭、祭物、十一奉獻、手中的舉祭，和向耶和華許願的一切上好的祭，都帶到耶和華－你們上帝所選擇立他名的居所。
