所罗门有套车的马四千棚，有马兵一万二千，安置在屯车的城邑和耶路撒冷，就是王那里。

又建造所有的积货城，并屯车和马兵的城，与耶路撒冷、黎巴嫩，以及自己治理的全国中所愿建造的。

只是王不可为自己加添马匹，也不可使百姓回埃及去，为要加添他的马匹，因耶和华曾吩咐你们说：‘不可再回那条路去。’

所罗门王用锤出来的金子打成挡牌二百面，每面用金子六百舍客勒；
