祈主賜我智慧聰明、能於斯民前出入、不然、主民眾多、孰能判斷其間乎、

Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours?”

Give me wisdom and knowledge. Then I’ll be able to lead these people. Without your help, who would be able to rule this great nation of yours?”

so as to turn your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;yes, if you call out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding;if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures:then you will understand the fear of Yahweh, and find the knowledge of God.For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God,

He said to them,“ I am one hundred twenty years old today. I can no more go out and come in. Yahweh has said to me,‘ You shall not go over this Jordan.’

Give me understanding, and I will keep your law. Yes, I will obey it with my whole heart.

Wisdom is supreme. Get wisdom. Yes, though it costs all your possessions, get understanding.

Your hands have made me and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments.

Happy is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gets understanding.For her good profit is better than getting silver, and her return is better than fine gold.She is more precious than rubies. None of the things you can desire are to be compared to her.Length of days is in her right hand. In her left hand are riches and honor.Her ways are ways of pleasantness. All her paths are peace.She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her. Happy is everyone who retains her.

to the one a stench from death to death, to the other a sweet aroma from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things?

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
