人之為善亦有顯隱之分；顯者固人皆見之、而隱者亦不能久藏也。

In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not obvious cannot remain hidden forever.

In the same way, good works are easy to see. But even good works that are hard to see can’t stay hidden forever.

So also good works are conspicuous, and even those that are not cannot remain hidden.

And a disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, but his father was a Greek,and he was well spoken of by the brothers and sisters who were in Lystra and Iconium.Paul wanted this man to leave with him; and he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those parts, for they all knew that his father was a Greek.

And he must have a good reputation with those outside the church, so that he will not fall into disgrace and the snare of the devil.

But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,so that your charitable giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.“ And when you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they will be seen by people. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.But as for you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
