嫻靜貞潔、躬操井臼、待人和藹、毋違夫子、庶幾天主聖教、不致為人詬病。

凡身為奴僕者、當尊敬其主人、庶免天主聖名聖道之被人褻瀆。

故望爾曹勿再互相指摘。各宜小心謹慎、切勿樹立梗障、而為兄弟之厲階也。

吾望信眾隨處祈禱；祈禱時、應舉聖潔之手、更須平心靜氣。

有人鬮分其衣、民眾環立觀望、官吏相與嘲訕之曰：『彼曾救人；苟其為天主所選之基督、曷亦自救乎？』兵士亦加嘲弄、飲以敗醯、曰：『爾既為猶太人之王、宜可自救。』復懸標其上、書曰：「是為猶太人之王。」同釘一犯、亦譏之曰：「爾非基督耶？曷自救而救吾儕？」一犯應聲責之曰：『汝為同受刑者、尚不寅畏天主耶？夫吾儕受惡之報、宜也。彼則未嘗為非。』

爾等若果因基督之名而受唾罵、福莫大焉！蓋誠能如此、則光榮大能之聖神、天主之聖神、以爾為安宅矣。兄弟慎毋以殺人竊盜、為非作惡、或捨己耘人而受苦也。

顧吾之所以為此、且願守此不渝者、不欲予人以口實、而謂若輩之所誇亦同乎吾儕之所誇耳。

婚姻為聖潔之事、床笫不容沾辱。淫人妻女、必遭天誅。

至於青年寡婦、勿予入冊；誠恐春心一動、則背棄基督、而再醮矣；
