自制、贞洁，持家、和善、顺服丈夫，免得上帝的道被人毁谤。

做奴仆的要全心尊重自己的主人，免得上帝的名和我们的教导被人亵渎。

言语纯全、无可指责，让那些反对的人无话可说、自觉羞愧。

禁止人结婚和吃某些食物。其实那些食物是上帝创造的，为了让相信并且明白真理的人存感谢的心领受。

于是，其他总长和总督想在但以理的政务中找把柄控告他，却找不到任何把柄或过失，因为他诚实可靠，毫无过失。

她料理一切家务，从不偷懒吃闲饭。她的儿女肃立，为她祝福，她的丈夫也称赞她，说：“世上贤德的女子很多，唯有你无与伦比。”

至于那些未婚的和寡居的，他们若能像我一样就好了。但如果他们不能自制，就应该结婚，因为与其欲火攻心还不如结婚为好。

智慧的女子建立家园，愚昧的女子亲手拆毁。

所以，我们不可再互相论断，要留心自己的言行，不要绊倒弟兄姊妹。

我愿男人举起圣洁的手随处祷告，不发怒，不争辩。

那三位客人问亚伯拉罕：“你妻子撒拉在哪里？”亚伯拉罕回答说：“在帐篷里。”

但你做的丑事给了仇敌亵渎耶和华的机会，所以你这个孩子必定死。”

百姓站着观看，官长嘲笑耶稣说：“祂救了别人，如果祂是上帝所选立的基督，让祂救自己吧！”士兵们也戏弄祂，拿了些酸酒上前给祂喝，又说：“如果你是犹太人的王，救救自己呀！”耶稣上方有一块牌子，上面写着：“这是犹太人的王”。跟耶稣同钉十字架的一个罪犯也讥笑耶稣，说：“你不是基督吗？救你自己和我们呀！”另一个罪犯却责备他说：“你同样是受刑的，难道不怕上帝吗？我们是罪有应得，但这个人没有犯过罪。”

于是，亚伯拉罕连忙进帐篷对撒拉说：“快准备三斗细面粉，和面烤饼。”

如果你们为基督的缘故受辱骂，就有福了！因为上帝荣耀的灵常住在你们身上。你们谁也不可因杀人、偷盗、作恶或管闲事而受苦。

我现在所做的，将来还会继续做下去，为了要断绝那些投机分子的机会，使他们无法吹嘘自己的职分与我们一样。

人人都要尊重婚姻，不可玷污夫妻关系，因为上帝必审判淫乱和通奸的人。

不要把年轻的寡妇列入名册，因为当她们情欲冲动，无法持守对基督的委身时，就想再嫁，
