並且必須有美好行為的名聲，就如養育孩子、接待客旅、洗聖徒的腳、幫助受患難的人、追隨一切美善的工作。

亦當有為善之稱、如育子女、款遠人、濯聖徒之足、濟受難之人、從諸善事、

其人必須有賢德之稱曾教養兒女善待賓客、且為聖徒洗足、平生濟人之難、周人之急、孳孳為善、惟日不足者、方得稱是。

and is well known for her good deeds, such as bringing up children, showing hospitality, washing the feet of the Lord’s people, helping those in trouble and devoting herself to all kinds of good deeds.

She must be well known for the good things she does. That includes bringing up children. It includes inviting guests into her home. It includes washing the feet of the Lord’s people. It includes helping those who are in trouble. A widow should spend her time doing all kinds of good things.

and having a reputation for good works: if she has brought up children, has shown hospitality, has washed the feet of the saints, has cared for the afflicted, and has devoted herself to every good work.

She must be well respected by everyone because of the good she has done. Has she brought up her children well? Has she been kind to strangers and served other believers humbly? Has she helped those who are in trouble? Has she always been ready to do good?

所以弟兄們，當從你們中間選出七個有好名聲、被聖靈充滿、智慧充足的人，我們就派他們管理這事。 (cunpt)

說：「我主啊，請你們到僕人家裏洗洗腳，住一夜，清早起來再走。」他們說：「不！我們要在街上過夜。」 (cunpt)

學習行善，尋求公平，解救受欺壓的；給孤兒伸冤，為寡婦辨屈。 (cunpt)

「你的弟兄在你那裏若漸漸貧窮，手中缺乏，你就要幫補他，使他與你同住，像外人和寄居的一樣。 (cunpt)

人若自潔，脫離卑賤的事，就必作貴重的器皿，成為聖潔，合乎主用，預備行各樣的善事。 (cunpt)

隨後把水倒在盆裏，就洗門徒的腳，並用自己所束的手巾擦乾。挨到西門‧彼得，彼得對他說：「主啊，你洗我的腳嗎？」耶穌回答說：「我所做的，你如今不知道，後來必明白。」彼得說：「你永不可洗我的腳！」耶穌說：「我若不洗你，你就與我無分了。」西門‧彼得說：「主啊，不但我的腳，連手和頭也要洗。」耶穌說：「凡洗過澡的人，只要把腳一洗，全身就乾淨了。你們是乾淨的，然而不都是乾淨的。」耶穌原知道要賣他的是誰，所以說：「你們不都是乾淨的。」耶穌洗完了他們的腳，就穿上衣服，又坐下，對他們說：「我向你們所做的，你們明白嗎？你們稱呼我夫子，稱呼我主，你們說的不錯，我本來是。我是你們的主，你們的夫子，尚且洗你們的腳，你們也當彼此洗腳。我給你們作了榜樣，叫你們照着我向你們所做的去做。 (cunpt)

他們說：「百夫長哥尼流是個義人，敬畏神，為猶太通國所稱讚。他蒙一位聖天使指示，叫他請你到他家裏去，聽你的話。」 (cunpt)
