Therefore I will not be negligent to remind you of these things, though you know them, and are established in the present truth.I think it right, as long as I am in this tent, to stir you up by reminding you,knowing that the putting off of my tent comes swiftly, even as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me.Yes, I will make every effort that you may always be able to remember these things even after my departure.

Yahweh’s law is perfect, restoring the soul. Yahweh’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple.

Jesus therefore answered them,“ My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God, or if I am speaking from myself.

Pay attention to yourself and to your teaching. Continue in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

Because of this I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, even as I teach everywhere in every assembly.

but in everything commending ourselves, as servants of God, in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses,

for I give you sound learning. Don’t forsake my law.

but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ,from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.

But I write the more boldly to you in part, as reminding you, because of the grace that was given to me by God,

But you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,

Your words were found, and I ate them. Your words were to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart, for I am called by your name, Yahweh, God of Armies.

who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

But that you also may know my affairs, how I am doing, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will make known to you all things.

So let a man think of us as Christ’s servants, and stewards of God’s mysteries.Here, moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.

This is now, beloved, the second letter that I have written to you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by reminding you,that you should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior:

For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts,
