曰、有貴胄往遠地、欲得國而返、召其僕十人、予金十斤、謂之曰、貿易以待我來、其民憾之、遣使於其後、曰、我儕不欲斯人君我也、貴胄受國而返、命召予金之僕、欲知其獲利幾何、其一至、曰、主之一斤、已獲十斤矣、曰、俞、善僕也、爾於小者既忠、可宰十邑也、其次至、曰、主之一斤、已獲五斤矣、曰爾亦可宰五邑也、又其次至、曰、主之一斤在此、我藏之於巾、蓋我畏爾嚴人也、未置者取之、未播者穫之、主謂之曰、惡哉僕也、我即由爾口判爾、爾既知我嚴、未置而取、未播而穫、盍以我金置肆、我來時、可並其利取之、遂命左右曰、奪其一斤、以予有十斤者、眾曰、主、彼已有十斤矣、曰我語汝、凡有者、將予之、無者、並其所有亦奪之、

於是手按之、遂受聖神、

又如一人將往他方、召其僕以家資付之、或與金五千、或與二千、或與一千、各因其才、遂往、受五千者、往而貿易、又獲五千、受二千者、亦獲二千、惟受一千者、往而掘地、藏其主之金、久之、主歸、與之會計、受五千者至、又攜五千曰、主付我五千、又獲五千矣、主曰、俞、善而忠之僕也、爾於寡者既忠、我將以多者任爾、可進於爾主之樂也、受二千者至、曰、主付我二千、又獲二千矣、主曰、俞、善而忠之僕也、爾於寡者既忠、我將以多者任爾、可進於爾主之樂也、受一千者亦至、曰、主、我知爾乃忍人、未播之處而穫、未散之處而斂、是以我懼、藏爾金於地、今爾故物猶存、主曰、惡且惰之僕乎、爾知我未播而穫、未散而斂、則當以我金付金商、我至時、得以取其本、而獲其息、可奪其一千、予有十千者、蓋有者將予之、使其有餘、無者並其所有亦奪之、其無益之僕、逐於幽暗、在彼有哀哭切齒矣、○

既依所賦之恩、受賜有別、或預言、則依信量、或役事、則役事、或教誨、則教誨、或勸慰、則勸慰、濟者以誠、治者以勤、矜者以樂、
