Their soul melts away because of trouble.They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress.He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven.Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness, for his wonderful deeds for the children of men!Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders.He turns rivers into a desert, water springs into a thirsty ground,and a fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of those who dwell in it.He turns a desert into a pool of water, and a dry land into water springs.There he makes the hungry live, that they may prepare a city to live in,sow fields, plant vineyards, and reap the fruits of increase.He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly. He doesn’t allow their livestock to decrease.Again, they are diminished and bowed down through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.He pours contempt on princes, and causes them to wander in a trackless waste.Yet he lifts the needy out of their affliction, and increases their families like a flock.The upright will see it, and be glad. All the wicked will shut their mouths.Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things. They will consider the loving kindnesses of Yahweh.

Declare and present it. Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has shown this from ancient time? Who has declared it of old? Haven’t I, Yahweh? There is no other God besides me, a just God and a Savior. There is no one besides me.“ Look to me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.

but if I wait long, that you may know how men ought to behave themselves in God’s house, which is the assembly of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Let’s therefore go out to him outside of the camp, bearing his reproach.

He trusts in God. Let God deliver him now, if he wants him; for he said,‘ I am the Son of God.’”

Let the redeemed by Yahweh say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,

For, I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last of all, like men sentenced to death. For we are made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and men.We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You have honor, but we have dishonor.Even to this present hour we hunger, thirst, are naked, are beaten, and have no certain dwelling place.We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.Being defamed, we entreat. We are made as the filth of the world, the dirt wiped off by all, even until now.

Your righteousness is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are like a great deep. Yahweh, you preserve man and animal.

who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.

Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.

I endured those persecutions. The Lord delivered me out of them all.Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

Who among you fears Yahweh and obeys the voice of his servant? He who walks in darkness and has no light, let him trust in Yahweh’s name, and rely on his God.

Yahweh helps them and rescues them. He rescues them from the wicked and saves them, because they have taken refuge in him.

considering the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he looked to the reward.

Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said,“ Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel, and delivered his servants who trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

“ Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose confidence is in Yahweh.
