講道時、更宜正心誠意、態度莊重、言語純潔、無可指摘、如此則反對之人、將以吾人無懈可擊、而自慚矣。

耶穌曰：『天主國之精義妙理、惟傳授於爾等。於外人則一以譬喻出之。

爾等若果因基督之名而受唾罵、福莫大焉！蓋誠能如此、則光榮大能之聖神、天主之聖神、以爾為安宅矣。兄弟慎毋以殺人竊盜、為非作惡、或捨己耘人而受苦也。若為服膺基督之教而受苦、則非惟不可引以為辱、且當以此名義、歸榮於天主也。

故吾寧願青年寡婦再適、生子宜家、庶幾不予敵人以口實；

夫外界之人何與於我、我亦何所用其評騭。吾人所欲評騭者、非會中人乎？

避惡若浼。

有亞拿尼亞者、恪守律法、同邑猶太人皆贊譽之、

再者、人之犯罪、固有顯而易見、一望而知其為應受審判也。然亦有須經攷察始能昭然若揭者。人之為善亦有顯隱之分；顯者固人皆見之、而隱者亦不能久藏也。

對曰：『巴總高乃流、正人也、敬畏上主、為猶太舉國之所稱道、近蒙聖天神指示、邀汝至其家、俾聆汝教。』

嫻靜貞潔、躬操井臼、待人和藹、毋違夫子、庶幾天主聖教、不致為人詬病。
