He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil’s trap.

我們留心行光明的事，不但在主面前，就在人面前也是這樣。

所以弟兄們，當從你們中間選出七個有好名聲、被聖靈充滿、智慧充足的人，我們就派他們管理這事。

你們要愛惜光陰，用智慧與外人交往。

我們凡事都不叫人有妨礙，免得這職分被人毀謗；

但那些想要發財的人，就陷在迷惑、落在網羅和許多無知有害的私慾裏，叫人沉在敗壞和滅亡中。

叫你們可以向外人行事端正，自己也就沒有甚麼缺乏了。

不拘是猶太人，是希臘人，是神的教會，你們都不要使他跌倒；

言語純全，無可指責，叫那反對的人，既無處可說我們的不是，便自覺羞愧。

耶穌對他們說：「神國的奧祕只叫你們知道，若是對外人講，凡事就用比喻，

你們若為基督的名受辱罵，便是有福的；因為神榮耀的靈常住在你們身上。你們中間卻不可有人因為殺人、偷竊、作惡、好管閒事而受苦。若為作基督徒受苦，卻不要羞恥，倒要因這名歸榮耀給神。

所以我願意年輕的寡婦嫁人，生養兒女，治理家務，不給敵人辱罵的把柄。

因為審判教外的人與我何干？教內的人豈不是你們審判的嗎？

各樣的惡事要禁戒不做。

我兒啊，不可這樣！我聽見你們的風聲不好，你們使耶和華的百姓犯了罪。

那裏有一個人，名叫亞拿尼亞，按着律法是虔誠人，為一切住在那裏的猶太人所稱讚。

有些人的罪是明顯的，如同先到審判案前；有些人的罪是隨後跟了去的。這樣，善行也有明顯的，那不明顯的也不能隱藏。

他們說：「百夫長哥尼流是個義人，敬畏神，為猶太通國所稱讚。他蒙一位聖天使指示，叫他請你到他家裏去，聽你的話。」

謹守，貞潔，料理家務，待人有恩，順服自己的丈夫，免得神的道理被毀謗。
