Although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that,

Also, prepare a guest room for me, for I hope that through your prayers I will be restored to you.

But I will come to you when I have passed through Macedonia, for I am passing through Macedonia.But with you it may be that I will stay, or even winter, that you may send me on my journey wherever I go.For I do not wish to see you now in passing, but I hope to stay a while with you, if the Lord permits.

In this confidence, I was determined to come first to you, that you might have a second benefit,and by you to pass into Macedonia, and again from Macedonia to come to you, and to be sent forward by you on my journey to Judea.When I therefore was thus determined, did I show fickleness? Or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be the“ Yes, yes” and the“ No, no?”

Know that our brother Timothy has been freed, with whom, if he comes shortly, I will see you.
