我願女人衣著樸素端莊，不靠髮型、珠寶金飾或名貴衣服來妝飾自己，

又愿女人廉耻、自守，以正派衣裳为妆饰，不以编发、黄金、珍珠，和贵价的衣裳为妆饰，

我也希望女人以端正、克制和合乎体统的服装打扮自己，不以编发、金饰、珍珠和名贵衣裳来打扮。

亦欲婦女所衣合宜、有廉恥、能謹守、勿以編髮及金珠與珍貴之衣為飾、

信女服裝、務宜端正素樸、若辮髮、金珠、文繡、皆非所宜。

I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes,

In the same way, I want the women to be careful how they dress. They should wear clothes that are right and proper. They shouldn’t wear their hair in very fancy styles. They shouldn’t wear gold or pearls. They shouldn’t wear clothes that cost a lot of money.

likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire,

And I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes.

你們不要注重外表的妝飾，像編頭髮、戴金飾或穿華麗的衣服，要以溫柔、嫺靜這些永不褪色的內在美為妝飾，這是上帝所看重的。從前那些仰賴上帝的聖潔婦女，都是以這些來妝飾自己，並順服自己的丈夫，

因為耶和華喜愛祂的子民，祂賜尊榮給謙卑的人，使他們得勝。

勸年長的婦女要過敬虔的生活，不說長道短，不做酒的奴隸，要以身作則。這樣，她們就能教導年輕的婦女愛丈夫、愛兒女、自制、貞潔，持家、和善、順服丈夫，免得上帝的道被人毀謗。

你這荒涼的城啊！你在做什麽？縱然你穿上紅袍，戴上金飾，描眉畫眼，又有什麼用呢？你的情人藐視你，要殺害你。

耶和華又說：「錫安的女子狂傲，昂首走路，賣弄媚眼，俏步徐行，腳鐲叮噹。

少女會忘記她的首飾嗎？新娘會忘記她的禮服嗎？我的子民卻早已把我拋諸腦後。

耶戶去了耶斯列。耶洗別聞訊，便梳頭描眉，向窗外眺望。

然後拿出金銀首飾和衣裳送給利百加，又把貴重的禮物送給她的哥哥和母親。

「何必為穿著憂慮呢？你們看看野地的百合花是如何生長的，它們既不勞苦，也不紡織。但我告訴你們，就連所羅門王最顯赫時的穿戴還不如一朵百合花！

看啊！一個妓女打扮、心術不正的女子出來迎接他。

到那日，主必拿去她們美麗的腳鐲、髮飾、項鏈、耳環、手鐲、面紗、頭飾、腳鏈、彩帶、香盒、護身符、戒指、鼻環、禮服、外袍、披肩、錢包、鏡子、內衣、頭巾和圍巾。她們的香氣將變成臭味，腰帶將變成繩子，美髮將變成禿頭，華服將變成麻衣，美麗的容顏將佈滿羞辱的烙印。

她為自己縫製繡花毯，用細麻和紫布做衣服。

第三天，以斯帖身穿朝服進入王宮內院，面對大殿站立，王在殿裡正面朝宮門坐在寶座上。

公主身穿金線衣，無比華貴。她身披錦繡，由侍女伴隨前來見王，

如果不是，你們到底想看什麼？是看穿綾羅綢緞的人嗎？那些穿綾羅綢緞的人生活在王宮裡。

他們必重修古老的荒場，在久已毀壞之地重建荒廢的城邑。

凡甘心奉獻的，不論男女，都把別針、耳環、戒指、項鏈等各樣金飾拿來獻給耶和華。凡有細麻線，山羊毛，藍色、紫色和朱紅色的線，染成紅色的公羊皮，海狗皮的，都把它們拿來了。

我用水洗淨你身上的血污，給你塗上馨香的油，穿上錦繡的衣裳和海狗皮的鞋，披上細麻衣和絲綢外袍。我用首飾來裝扮你，給你戴上手鐲、項鏈、鼻環、耳環和華冠。這樣，你戴的是金銀首飾，穿的是綾羅綢緞，吃的是細麵粉、蜂蜜和油。你變得美豔絕倫，晉升為王后。你的美貌名揚四方，因為我給你的華貴使你美貌無比。這是主耶和華說的。「『你卻仗著自己的美貌和名聲縱情淫亂，與所有過路的人苟合。你用自己的衣服在拜偶像的地方結彩，在那裡行淫。這樣的事真是空前絕後！
