Therefore, I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or argument.

所以我願男人在各地方禱告，無忿怒無爭論地舉起虔聖的手來祈禱。

所以，我希望在各個地方的男人都舉起聖潔的手禱告，不動怒、不爭論；

故我欲人無怒無爭、舉維聖之手隨在祈禱、

我欲人拱手敬虔、毋怒毋疑、隨在祈禱、

我欲人無怒無爭、隨在舉聖潔之手而祈禱、

吾望信眾隨處祈禱；祈禱時、應舉聖潔之手、更須平心靜氣。

Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.

So I want the men in every place to pray. I want them to lift up holy hands. I don’t want them to be angry when they pray. I don’t want them to argue.

I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling;

So I want the men to pray in every place, lifting up holy hands without anger or dispute.

Lift up your hands in the holy place and praise the Lord!

So I will praise You as long as I live; at Your name, I will lift up my hands.

Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, double-minded people!

When you lift up your hands in prayer, I will refuse to look at you; even if you offer countless prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are covered with blood.

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

But I tell you, everyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. And whoever says to his brother,‘ Fool!’ will be subject to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says,‘ You moron!’ will be subject to hellfire.So if you are offering your gift on the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you,leave your gift there in front of the altar.
