吾望信眾隨處祈禱；祈禱時、應舉聖潔之手、更須平心靜氣。

Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.

So I want the men in every place to pray. I want them to lift up holy hands. I don’t want them to be angry when they pray. I don’t want them to argue.

I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling;

In every place of worship, I want men to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from anger and controversy.

So I will bless you as long as I live; at your name, I will lift up my hands.

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

When you spread out your hands in prayer, I will refuse to look at you; even if you offer countless prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are covered with blood.

Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, to bring the poor and homeless into your house, to clothe the naked when you see him, and not to ignore your own flesh and blood?Then your light will appear like the dawn, and your recovery will come quickly. You will be like a watered garden and like a spring whose water never runs dry.

He knelt down and cried out with a loud voice,“ Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” And after saying this, he fell asleep.

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

But I tell you, everyone who is angry with his brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Whoever insults his brother or sister, will be subject to the court. Whoever says,‘ You fool!’ will be subject to hellfire.So if you are offering your gift on the altar, and there you remember that your brother or sister has something against you,leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled with your brother or sister, and then come and offer your gift.

Husbands, in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with a weaker partner, showing them honor as coheirs of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.

But let him ask in faith without doubting. For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind.That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord,being double-minded and unstable in all his ways.

But an hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth. Yes, the Father wants such people to worship him.God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in Spirit and in truth.”

Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from the belly of the fish:I called to the LORD in my distress, and he answered me. I cried out for help from deep inside Sheol; you heard my voice.

Jesus answered them,“ Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you tell this mountain,‘ Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
