Love is the purpose of my command. Love comes from a pure heart. It comes from a good sense of what is right and wrong. It comes from faith that is honest and true.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience.

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

If your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy someone for whom Christ died.

Jerusalem, wash the evil from your heart and be saved. How long will you harbor wicked thoughts?

But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.For we know in part and we prophesy in part,but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.
