以此誨人、使無間然、

毋若小子、受人詭譎伎倆、以其教風動煽惑、

當諭此世之富者、心勿傲、無定之財勿恃、惟賴永生上帝、洪賜我眾、百物以享之、

爾當書達以弗所會使者、曰、主右執七星、行於七金燈臺間、言曰、我知爾所為、勤勞忍難、為惡者弗包容、非使徒而冒稱者、爾已試之、知其妄言、

爾有可責數事、有婦耶洗別、冒稱先知、誘我僕眾行淫、食祭偶之物、爾竟容之、

且我賴主、將速至爾邦、

惟爾有可責數事、昔巴蘭慫恿巴勒、誘以色列人、食祭偶之物、且行淫、爾中有人從之、

此當誨諭焉、

至以弗所、留二人居之、自入會堂、與猶太人辯論、

好利為萬惡根、有人慕之、則背於道、以多苦自刺、

爾以此勸兄弟、可為耶穌基督忠僕、習信道、從善教、
