兄弟乎、我勸爾妄為者警之、怯思者勉之、懦弱者助之、向眾人當寛忍、

最宜和睦。如有不守本分者、望兄弟加以勸告。鼓勵懦者、扶持弱者、寬裕忍耐、足以有容。

And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all.

And we exhort you, brethren, admonish the disorderly, encourage the fainthearted, support the weak, be longsuffering toward all.

And we exhort you, brothers: warn those who are irresponsible, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all[ men].

And we urge you, brothers and sisters, admonish the undisciplined, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient toward all.

We exhort you, brothers: Admonish the disorderly; encourage the faint- hearted; support the weak; be patient toward all.

Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage with great patience and teaching.

Welcome anyone who is weak in faith, but don’t argue about disputed matters.

Now we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from every brother or sister who is idle and does not live according to the tradition received from us.For you yourselves know how you should imitate us: We were not idle among you;

For we hear that there are some among you who are idle. They are not busy but busybodies.Now we command and exhort such people by the Lord Jesus Christ to work quietly and provide for themselves.But as for you, brothers and sisters, do not grow weary in doing good.

In every way I’ve shown you that it is necessary to help the weak by laboring like this and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, because he said,‘ It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Now we who are strong have an obligation to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not to please ourselves.Each one of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.For even Christ did not please himself. On the contrary, as it is written, The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.

The Lord’s servant must not quarrel, but must be gentle to everyone, able to teach, and patient,instructing his opponents with gentleness. Perhaps God will grant them repentance leading them to the knowledge of the truth.

Although we could have been a burden as Christ’s apostles, instead we were gentle among you, as a nurse nurtures her own children.We cared so much for you that we were pleased to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.For you remember our labor and hardship, brothers and sisters. Working night and day so that we would not burden any of you, we preached God’s gospel to you.You are witnesses, and so is God, of how devoutly, righteously, and blamelessly we conducted ourselves with you believers.As you know, like a father with his own children,we encouraged, comforted, and implored each one of you to walk worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.

But you, man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.

I’m not writing this to shame you, but to warn you as my dear children.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship.

He will not break a bruised reed, and he will not put out a smoldering wick, until he has led justice to victory.

He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he is also clothed with weakness.Because of this, he must make an offering for his own sins as well as for the people.

with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,

In all their suffering, he suffered, and the angel of his presence saved them. He redeemed them because of his love and compassion; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of the past.

Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not arrogant,is not rude, is not self-seeking, is not irritable, and does not keep a record of wrongs.

“ Son of man, I have made you a watchman over the house of Israel. When you hear a word from my mouth, give them a warning from me.If I say to the wicked person,‘ You will surely die,’ but you do not warn him— you don’t speak out to warn him about his wicked way in order to save his life— that wicked person will die for his iniquity. Yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.But if you warn a wicked person and he does not turn from his wickedness or his wicked way, he will die for his iniquity, but you will have rescued yourself.Now if a righteous person turns from his righteousness and acts unjustly, and I put a stumbling block in front of him, he will die. If you did not warn him, he will die because of his sin, and the righteous acts he did will not be remembered. Yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.But if you warn the righteous person that he should not sin, and he does not sin, he will indeed live because he listened to your warning, and you will have rescued yourself.”

And suppose he sees the sword coming against the land and blows his ram’s horn to warn the people.Then, if anyone hears the sound of the ram’s horn but ignores the warning, and the sword comes and takes him away, his death will be his own fault.Since he heard the sound of the ram’s horn but ignored the warning, his death is his own fault. If he had taken warning, he would have saved his life.However, suppose the watchman sees the sword coming but doesn’t blow the ram’s horn, so that the people aren’t warned, and the sword comes and takes away their lives. Then they have been taken away because of their iniquity, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.’“ As for you, son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. When you hear a word from my mouth, give them a warning from me.If I say to the wicked,‘ Wicked one, you will surely die,’ but you do not speak out to warn him about his way, that wicked person will die for his iniquity, yet I will hold you responsible for his blood.But if you warn a wicked person to turn from his way and he doesn’t turn from it, he will die for his iniquity, but you will have rescued yourself.

not an excessive drinker, not a bully but gentle, not quarrelsome, not greedy.

And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.Therefore, be imitators of God, as dearly loved children,and walk in love, as Christ also loved us and gave himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering to God.

Brothers and sisters, if someone is overtaken in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual, restore such a person with a gentle spirit, watching out for yourselves so that you also won’t be tempted.Carry one another’s burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for three years I never stopped warning each one of you with tears.

We proclaim him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ.

But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

He protects his flock like a shepherd; he gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them in the fold of his garment. He gently leads those that are nursing.

Therefore, strengthen your tired hands and weakened knees,

For there are many rebellious people, full of empty talk and deception, especially those from the circumcision party.

“ Comfort, comfort my people,” says your God.“ Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and announce to her that her time of hard service is over, her iniquity has been pardoned, and she has received from the LORD’s hand double for all her sins.”

Strengthen the weak hands, steady the shaking knees!Say to the cowardly:“ Be strong; do not fear! Here is your God; vengeance is coming. God’s retribution is coming; he will save you.”

Therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and dearly loved, put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,bearing with one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a grievance against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you are also to forgive.

An elder must be blameless, the husband of one wife, with faithful children who are not accused of wildness or rebellion.

Their houses will be turned over to others, their fields and wives as well, for I will stretch out my hand against the inhabitants of the land. This is the LORD’s declaration.

Remember those in prison, as though you were in prison with them, and the mistreated, as though you yourselves were suffering bodily.

I will seek the lost, bring back the strays, bandage the injured, and strengthen the weak, but I will destroy the fat and the strong. I will shepherd them with justice.

When they had eaten breakfast, Jesus asked Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said to him,“ you know that I love you.”“ Feed my lambs,” he told him.A second time he asked him,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said to him,“ you know that I love you.”“ Shepherd my sheep,” he told him.He asked him the third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved that he asked him the third time,“ Do you love me?” He said,“ Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.”“ Feed my sheep,” Jesus said.
