Now we ask you, brothers, to give recognition to those who labor among you and lead you in the Lord and admonish you,

弟兄姊妹，我劝你们要敬重那些在你们当中辛勤工作、在主里领导和劝诫你们的人。

弟兄们，我们求你们要敬重那些在你们中间劳苦的人，就是在主里面治理你们、劝戒你们的人。

弟兄们，我们请求你们：要敬重那些在你们中间劳苦做工、在主里带领你们、劝诫你们的人，

弟兄們，我們勸你們敬重那在你們中間勞苦的人，就是在主裏面治理你們、勸戒你們的；

弟兄們，我們勸你們要敬重那些在你們中間勞苦的，就是在主裏面督導你們、勸戒你們的人。

弟兄們，我們勸你們要敬重那些在你們中間勞苦的，就是在主裏面督導你們、勸戒你們的人。

弟兄姊妹，我勸你們要敬重那些在你們當中辛勤工作、在主裡領導和勸誡你們的人。

弟兄們，我們求你們要敬重那些在你們中間勞苦的人，就是在主裡面治理你們、勸戒你們的人。

弟兄們，我們求你們要賞識那些在你們中間勞苦、在主裏督導你們、勸戒你們的。

弟兄們，我們請求你們：要敬重那些在你們中間勞苦做工、在主裡帶領你們、勸誡你們的人，

兄弟乎、我求爾、凡在爾中勤勞、且為主治爾警爾者、爾其識之、

我勸兄弟尊師、彼宗主為爾服勞、治爾誨爾、

我求兄弟、尊敬尊敬原文作認於爾中服勞之人、即奉主名而治爾誨爾者、

凡服務爾中、奉主之命、管理爾等、訓導爾等者、

Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you.

Brothers and sisters, we ask you to accept the godly leaders who work hard among you. They care for you in the Lord. They correct you.

We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,

Dear brothers and sisters, honor those who are your leaders in the Lord’s work. They work hard among you and give you spiritual guidance.

Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to give recognition to those who labor among you and lead you in the Lord and admonish you,

But we ask you, brothers and sisters, to recognize those who diligently labor among you and are in leadership over you in the Lord, and give you instruction,

And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,

But we beseech you, brethren, to know them that labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;

And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;

Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who labor among you and preside over you in the Lord and admonish you,

But we beg you, brothers, to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you,

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account, so that they can do this with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

Remember your leaders who have spoken God’s word to you. As you carefully observe the outcome of their lives, imitate their faith.

The elders who are good leaders should be considered worthy of an ample honorarium, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.For the Scripture says: Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain, and, the worker is worthy of his wages.

For they have refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore recognize such people.

also to submit to such people, and to everyone who works and labors with them.

In His own time He has revealed His message in the proclamation that I was entrusted with by the command of God our Savior:

But by God’s grace I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not ineffective. However, I worked more than any of them, yet not I, but God’s grace that was with me.

Remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they offer, for the worker is worthy of his wages. Don’t be moving from house to house.

I labor for this, striving with His strength that works powerfully in me.

Working together with Him, we also appeal to you,“ Don’t receive God’s grace in vain.”

Hold firmly to the message of life. Then I can boast in the day of Christ that I didn’t run or labor for nothing.

For we are God’s coworkers. You are God’s field, God’s building.

The reason I left you in Crete was to set right what was left undone and, as I directed you, to appoint elders in every town:

“ Write to the angel of the church in Laodicea:“ The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Originator of God’s creation says:

The secret of the seven stars you saw in My right hand and of the seven gold lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.“ Write to the angel of the church in Ephesus:“ The One who holds the seven stars in His right hand and who walks among the seven gold lampstands says:

“ Write to the angel of the church in Thyatira:“ The Son of God, the One whose eyes are like a fiery flame and whose feet are like fine bronze, says:

“ Write to the angel of the church in Philadelphia:“ The Holy One, the True One, the One who has the key of David, who opens and no one will close, and closes and no one opens says:

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock that the Holy Spirit has appointed you to as overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood.

“ Write to the angel of the church in Pergamum:“ The One who has the sharp, double-edged sword says:

After this, the Lord appointed 70 others, and He sent them ahead of Him in pairs to every town and place where He Himself was about to go.He told them:“ The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.

Are they servants of Christ? I’m talking like a madman— I’m a better one: with far more labors, many more imprisonments, far worse beatings, near death many times.

For you remember our labor and hardship, brothers. Working night and day so that we would not burden any of you, we preached God’s gospel to you.

The hardworking farmer ought to be the first to get a share of the crops.

Therefore, whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to be pleasing to Him.

“ Write to the angel of the church in Smyrna:“ The First and the Last, the One who was dead and came to life, says:

In every way I’ve shown you that by laboring like this, it is necessary to help the weak and to keep in mind the words of the Lord Jesus, for He said,‘ It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

“ Write to the angel of the church in Sardis:“ The One who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars says: I know your works; you have a reputation for being alive, but you are dead.

And we exhort you, brothers: warn those who are irresponsible, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

Shepherd God’s flock among you, not overseeing out of compulsion but freely, according to God’s will; not for the money but eagerly;not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.

I am fearful for you, that perhaps my labor for you has been wasted.

Then He said to His disciples,“ The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few.Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

You also possess endurance and have tolerated many things because of My name and have not grown weary.

And God has placed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, managing, various kinds of languages.

Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brothers,

I sent you to reap what you didn’t labor for; others have labored, and you have benefited from their labor.”

Publicly rebuke those who sin, so that the rest will also be afraid.

Say these things, and encourage and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you.

Now I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon so that I also may be encouraged when I hear news about you.
