Now concerning brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another,

至於愛兄弟、無庸書以示爾、因爾自受教於上帝以相愛矣、

言及友誼、無庸我書、因上帝示爾、彼此相友、

至於兄弟相愛、無庸我儕書以示爾、蓋爾已為天主所教、當彼此相愛、

至於兄弟友愛之道、當無需吾之喋喋。爾等親沐天主薰陶、固知彼此相愛。

Now about your love for one another we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other.

We don’t need to write to you about your love for one another. God himself has taught you to love one another.

But we don’t need to write to you about the importance of loving each other, for God himself has taught you to love one another.

About brotherly love: You don’t need me to write you because you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

Now as to the love of the brothers and sisters, you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;

But concerning brotherly love you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;

But concerning love of the brethren ye have no need that one write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another;

About brotherly love: You don’t need me to write you because you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

Now on the topic of brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

But concerning brotherly love, you have no need that one write to you. For you yourselves are taught by God to love one another,

For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.

And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Let brotherly love continue.

Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you.

“ This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.You are my friends if you do what I command you.No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.These things I command you, so that you will love one another.

Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling.

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.It is written in the Prophets,‘ And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me—

We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death.Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him;

Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

“ This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds,”

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.

and everyone who eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned what is holy to the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from his people.

and have forgotten the Lord, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth, and you fear continually all the day because of the wrath of the oppressor, when he sets himself to destroy? And where is the wrath of the oppressor?

and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.

And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common.

And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
