因為在發令的呼喊聲中，在天使長的聲音和神的號角聲中，主要親自從天降臨，而且那些在基督裡死去的人要先復活，

彼時號令一出。總領天神一呼、天主之號角一鳴、主乃自天降臨、而已亡之信徒、既先復活；

「看哪，他在雲彩中來臨，所有人的眼睛都將看見他，連那些刺他的人也將看見他；地上的萬族都要因他捶胸哀哭。」確實如此，阿們。

看哪，我告訴你們一個奧祕：我們並不是都要睡了，而是都要被改變，就在一刹那，眨眼之間，在那最後的號角聲中。的確，號角要吹響，死人要復活成為不朽壞的，我們也要被改變；

不過每個人要按著自己的次序：初熟的果子是基督；然後他來臨的時候，是那些屬於基督的人；

「那時候，人子的徵兆將要顯現在天上，地上的萬族都要捶胸哀哭。他們將要看見人子帶著極大的權能和榮耀，在天上的雲彩中來臨。在嘹亮的號角聲中，他要差派他的天使們從四方，從天這邊到天那邊，召集他所揀選的人。

人子將要在他父的榮耀中，與他的天使們一起來臨。那時候，他要按照各人的所作所為回報每個人。

也要使你們這些受患難的人與我們一同得到安息。

「當人子在他的榮耀中，與所有的天使一起來臨的時候，他那時就要坐在他榮耀的寶座上。

到那日，必有大號角吹響，那些在亞述地快要滅亡的，以及那些被驅趕到埃及地的都要來，在耶路撒冷的聖山敬拜耶和華。

說：「各位加利利人哪，你們為什麼站在這裡望著天呢？這位從你們中間被接到天上去的耶穌，將來也要這樣回來，就像你們看到他升天那樣。」

耶和華必在他們上方顯現，他的箭矢射出如閃電；主耶和華必吹響號角，乘著南方的暴風前行。

神在歡呼中上升，耶和華在號角聲中上升。

其餘死去的人還沒有活過來，直到這一千年完結。這是第一次的復活。那些在第一次復活中有份的人是蒙福的、是聖潔的！第二次的死沒有權柄轄制他們；他們將成為神和基督的祭司，與基督一同做王一千年。

即使是天使長米迦勒，當他與魔鬼爭辯，為摩西的屍體爭論的時候，也不敢用毀謗的話定它的罪，只說：「願主責備你！」

耶穌回答他，說：「你已經說了。不過我告訴你們：將來你們會看見人子坐在全能者的右邊，在天上的雲彩中來臨。」

弟兄們，論到我們主耶穌基督的來臨，以及我們聚集歸於他的事，我們請求你們：

不過，主的日子要來臨，就像賊來臨那樣。在那日，諸天要轟然一聲地消逝，天體將被火焚燒而廢除，地和地上的作為也都將被暴露出來。

錫安女子啊，當大大快樂！耶路撒冷女子啊，當歡呼！看哪，你的王來到你這裡！他是公義的，得勝的，是謙和的，騎著驢——一頭小驢，就是驢的駒子。

我又觀看，就聽見一隻在空中飛翔的鷹大聲說：「有禍了！有禍了！住在地上的人有禍了！因為三位天使快要吹響其餘的號角。」

接著，我聽見有聲音從天上傳來，說：「你當寫下：從今以後，在主裡死去的人是蒙福的！」聖靈說：「是的！他們將脫離自己的勞苦進入安息，因為他們的作為將伴隨著他們。」

有一個主日，我在靈裡，聽見我後面有一個大聲音，如同號角聲，

他必吞滅死亡，直到永遠；主耶和華必抹去各人臉上的眼淚，從全地除掉他子民的羞辱。這是耶和華說的。到那日，必有人說：「看哪，這是我們的神，我們等候他，他拯救了我們！這是耶和華，我們等候他，讓我們因他的救恩歡喜快樂！」

『大山哪，你算什麼？你必在所羅巴伯面前成為平地！他必搬出那頭塊石頭，就必有歡呼的聲音說：恩惠！恩惠歸於它！』」

萬民哪，你們當鼓掌，當用歡呼的聲音向神呼喊！
