因为在发令的呼喊声中，在天使长的声音和神的号角声中，主要亲自从天降临，而且那些在基督里死去的人要先复活，

彼時號令一出。總領天神一呼、天主之號角一鳴、主乃自天降臨、而已亡之信徒、既先復活；

不过每个人要按着自己的次序：初熟的果子是基督；然后他来临的时候，是那些属于基督的人；

“那时候，人子的征兆将要显现在天上，地上的万族都要捶胸哀哭。他们将要看见人子带着极大的权能和荣耀，在天上的云彩中来临。在嘹亮的号角声中，他要差派他的天使们从四方，从天这边到天那边，召集他所拣选的人。

人子将要在他父的荣耀中，与他的天使们一起来临。那时候，他要按照各人的所作所为回报每个人。

也要使你们这些受患难的人与我们一同得到安息。

“当人子在他的荣耀中，与所有的天使一起来临的时候，他那时就要坐在他荣耀的宝座上。

到那日，必有大号角吹响，那些在亚述地快要灭亡的，以及那些被驱赶到埃及地的都要来，在耶路撒冷的圣山敬拜耶和华。

说：“各位加利利人哪，你们为什么站在这里望着天呢？这位从你们中间被接到天上去的耶稣，将来也要这样回来，就像你们看到他升天那样。”

神在欢呼中上升，耶和华在号角声中上升。

其余死去的人还没有活过来，直到这一千年完结。这是第一次的复活。那些在第一次复活中有份的人是蒙福的、是圣洁的！第二次的死没有权柄辖制他们；他们将成为神和基督的祭司，与基督一同做王一千年。

即使是天使长米迦勒，当他与魔鬼争辩，为摩西的尸体争论的时候，也不敢用毁谤的话定它的罪，只说：“愿主责备你！”

耶稣回答他，说：“你已经说了。不过我告诉你们：将来你们会看见人子坐在全能者的右边，在天上的云彩中来临。”

弟兄们，论到我们主耶稣基督的来临，以及我们聚集归于他的事，我们请求你们：

不过，主的日子要来临，就像贼来临那样。在那日，诸天要轰然一声地消逝，天体将被火焚烧而废除，地和地上的作为也都将被暴露出来。

我又观看，就听见一只在空中飞翔的鹰大声说：“有祸了！有祸了！住在地上的人有祸了！因为三位天使快要吹响其余的号角。”

接着，我听见有声音从天上传来，说：“你当写下：从今以后，在主里死去的人是蒙福的！”圣灵说：“是的！他们将脱离自己的劳苦进入安息，因为他们的作为将伴随着他们。”

有一个主日，我在灵里，听见我后面有一个大声音，如同号角声，

他必吞灭死亡，直到永远；主耶和华必抹去各人脸上的眼泪，从全地除掉他子民的羞辱。这是耶和华说的。到那日，必有人说：“看哪，这是我们的神，我们等候他，他拯救了我们！这是耶和华，我们等候他，让我们因他的救恩欢喜快乐！”

万民哪，你们当鼓掌，当用欢呼的声音向神呼喊！
