According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.

This agrees with what the Lord has said. When the Lord comes, many of us will still be alive. We tell you that we will certainly not go up before those who have died.

For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.

We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died.

我們主耶穌再來的時候，我們在他面前的盼望、喜樂或所誇耀的冠冕是甚麼呢？不就是你們嗎？

因為有耶和華的話對我說：‘你在那裡不可吃飯喝水，也不可從你去的原路回來。’”老先知對他說：“我也是先知，和你一樣。有一位天使奉耶和華的命令告訴我說：‘你去帶他與你一起回家，給他吃飯喝水。’”但是，老先知是欺騙他的。

因為有耶和華的話吩咐我說：‘你不可吃飯喝水，也不可從你去的原路回來。’”

先知門徒中有一個人奉耶和華的命令對他的一個同伴說：“你打我吧！”可是，那人卻不肯打他。

有一個神人，奉耶和華的命令，從猶大來到伯特利；那時，耶羅波安正站在祭壇旁邊燒香。

他說：“納。”他進到屋子裡，耶穌先問他：“西門，你認為怎樣？地上的君王向誰徵收關稅和丁稅？向自己的兒子還是外人呢？”

誰先給了我，以致我要償還呢？天下萬物，都是我的。

米該雅說：“我指著永活的耶和華起誓，耶和華吩咐我甚麼，我就說甚麼。”

反倒回來，在耶和華吩咐你不可吃飯喝水的地方，吃了飯喝了水，因此，你的屍體不能入葬你列祖的墳墓裡。’”
