在我們的父上帝面前，不住地記念你們因信心所做的工作，因愛心所受的勞苦，因盼望我們主耶穌基督所存的堅忍。

西拉和提摩太從馬其頓來的時候，保羅正專心傳道，向猶太人證明耶穌是基督。

有好消息從遙遠的地方來，就如涼水滋潤口渴的人。

我以基督耶穌的心腸切切想念你們眾人，這是上帝可以為我作證的。

在山上報佳音，傳平安，報好信息，傳揚救恩，那人的腳蹤何等佳美啊！他對錫安說：「你的上帝作王了！」

我們從前到了馬其頓的時候，身體沒有絲毫安寧，反而到處遭患難，外有紛爭，內有懼怕。但那安慰灰心之人的上帝藉着提多來安慰了我們；不但藉着他來，也藉着他從你們所得的安慰，安慰了我們，因為他把你們的思念，你們的哀慟，你們對我的熱忱，都告訴了我，使我更加歡喜。

弟兄們，我們該常常為你們感謝上帝，這本是合宜的；因為你們的信心格外增長，你們眾人彼此相愛的心也都增加。

我－保羅親筆問候你們。要記念我在捆鎖中。願恩惠與你們同在！

但命令的目的就是愛；這愛是出於清潔的心、無愧的良心和無偽的信心。

這些事以後，保羅離開雅典，來到哥林多。

要記念受監禁的人，好像與他們同受監禁；要記念受虐待的人，好像你們也親身受虐待一樣。

弟兄們，你們記念我們的辛苦勞碌，晝夜做工，傳上帝的福音給你們，免得你們任何人受累。

因為在基督耶穌裏，受割禮不受割禮都沒有功效，惟獨使人發出仁愛的信心才有功效。

因為聽見你們對基督耶穌的信心，並對眾聖徒有的愛心。

我們在上帝面前，因着你們滿有喜樂。為這一切喜樂，我們能用怎樣的感謝為你們報答上帝呢？我們晝夜切切祈求要見你們的面，來補足你們信心的不足。

從前引導你們、傳上帝的道給你們的人，你們要記念他們，效法他們的信心，回顧他們為人的結局。

我感謝上帝，就是我接續祖先用純潔的良心所事奉的上帝，在祈禱中晝夜不停地想念你。

因聽說你對眾聖徒的愛心，和你對主耶穌的信心。

弟兄們，我們被迫暫時與你們分離，身體離開，心卻沒有；我們極力想法子，渴望見你們的面。

上帝的命令就是：我們要信他兒子耶穌基督的名，並且照他所賜給我們的命令彼此相愛。

如今常存的有信，有望，有愛這三樣，其中最大的是愛。
