我称赞你们，因为你们凡事记得我，又坚守我所传授给你们的。

在我们的父神面前，不住地记念你们因信心所做的工作，因爱心所受的劳苦，因盼望我们主耶稣基督所存的坚忍。

西拉和提摩太从马其顿来的时候，保罗正专心传道，向犹太人证明耶稣是基督。

有好消息从遥远的地方来，就如凉水滋润口渴的人。

我以基督耶稣的心肠切切想念你们众人，这是神可以为我作证的。

在山上报佳音，传平安，报好信息，传扬救恩，那人的脚踪何等佳美啊！他对锡安说：“你的神作王了！”

我们从前到了马其顿的时候，身体没有丝毫安宁，反而到处遭患难，外有纷争，内有惧怕。但那安慰灰心之人的神藉着提多来安慰了我们；不但藉着他来，也藉着他从你们所得的安慰，安慰了我们，因为他把你们的思念，你们的哀恸，你们对我的热忱，都告诉了我，使我更加欢喜。

弟兄们，我们该常常为你们感谢神，这本是合宜的；因为你们的信心格外增长，你们众人彼此相爱的心也都增加。

我—保罗亲笔问候你们。要记念我在捆锁中。愿恩惠与你们同在！

但命令的目的就是爱；这爱是出于清洁的心、无愧的良心和无伪的信心。

这些事以后，保罗离开雅典，来到哥林多。

要记念受监禁的人，好像与他们同受监禁；要记念受虐待的人，好像你们也亲身受虐待一样。

弟兄们，你们记念我们的辛苦劳碌，昼夜做工，传神的福音给你们，免得你们任何人受累。

因为在基督耶稣里，受割礼不受割礼都没有功效，惟独使人发出仁爱的信心才有功效。

因为听见你们对基督耶稣的信心，并对众圣徒有的爱心。

我们在神面前，因着你们满有喜乐。为这一切喜乐，我们能用怎样的感谢为你们报答神呢？我们昼夜切切祈求要见你们的面，来补足你们信心的不足。

从前引导你们、传神的道给你们的人，你们要记念他们，效法他们的信心，回顾他们为人的结局。

我感谢神，就是我接续祖先用纯洁的良心所事奉的神，在祈祷中昼夜不停地想念你。

因听说你对众圣徒的爱心，和你对主耶稣的信心。

弟兄们，我们被迫暂时与你们分离，身体离开，心却没有；我们极力想法子，渴望见你们的面。

神的命令就是：我们要信他儿子耶稣基督的名，并且照他所赐给我们的命令彼此相爱。

如今常存的有信，有望，有爱这三样，其中最大的是爱。
