我稱讚你們，因你們凡事記念我，又堅守我所傳給你們的。

在神－我們的父面前，不住地記念你們因信心所做的工夫，因愛心所受的勞苦，因盼望我們主耶穌基督所存的忍耐。

西拉和提摩太從馬其頓來的時候，保羅為道迫切，向猶太人證明耶穌是基督。

有好消息從遠方來，就如拿涼水給口渴的人喝。

我體會基督耶穌的心腸，切切地想念你們眾人；這是神可以給我作見證的。

那報佳音，傳平安，報好信，傳救恩的，對錫安說：你的神作王了！這人的腳登山何等佳美！

我們從前就是到了馬其頓的時候，身體也不得安寧，周圍遭患難，外有爭戰，內有懼怕。但那安慰喪氣之人的神藉着提多來安慰了我們；不但藉着他來，也藉着他從你們所得的安慰，安慰了我們；因他把你們的想念、哀慟，和向我的熱心，都告訴了我，叫我更加歡喜。

弟兄們，我們該為你們常常感謝神，這本是合宜的；因你們的信心格外增長，並且你們眾人彼此相愛的心也都充足。

我－保羅親筆問你們安。你們要記念我的捆鎖。願恩惠常與你們同在！

但命令的總歸就是愛；這愛是從清潔的心和無虧的良心，無偽的信心生出來的。

這事以後，保羅離了雅典，來到哥林多。

你們要記念被捆綁的人，好像與他們同受捆綁；也要記念遭苦害的人，想到自己也在肉身之內。

弟兄們，你們記念我們的辛苦勞碌，晝夜做工，傳神的福音給你們，免得叫你們一人受累。

原來在基督耶穌裏，受割禮不受割禮全無功效，惟獨使人生發仁愛的信心才有功效。

因聽見你們在基督耶穌裏的信心，並向眾聖徒的愛心，

我們在神面前，因着你們甚是喜樂；為這一切喜樂，可用何等的感謝為你們報答神呢？我們晝夜切切地祈求，要見你們的面，補滿你們信心的不足。

從前引導你們、傳神之道給你們的人，你們要想念他們，效法他們的信心，留心看他們為人的結局。

我感謝神，就是我接續祖先用清潔的良心所事奉的神。祈禱的時候，不住的想念你，

因聽說你的愛心並你向主耶穌和眾聖徒的信心。

弟兄們，我們暫時與你們離別，是面目離別，心裏卻不離別；我們極力地想法子，很願意見你們的面。

神的命令就是叫我們信他兒子耶穌基督的名，且照他所賜給我們的命令彼此相愛。

如今常存的有信，有望，有愛這三樣，其中最大的是愛。
