Now on the topic of brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.And indeed you are practicing it toward all the brothers and sisters in all of Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers and sisters, to do so more and more,

The second is like it:‘ Love your neighbor as yourself.’

Owe no one anything, except to love one another, for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

See that no one pays back evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good for one another and for all.

We ought to thank God always for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith flourishes more and more and the love of each one of you all for one another is ever greater.

Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been fathered by God and knows God.The person who does not love does not know God, because God is love.By this the love of God is revealed in us: that God has sent his one and only Son into the world so that we may live through him.In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.Dear friends, if God so loved us, then we also ought to love one another.No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God resides in us, and his love is perfected in us.By this we know that we reside in God and he in us: in that he has given us of his Spirit.And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.If anyone confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God resides in him and he in God.And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has in us. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision carries any weight– the only thing that matters is faith working through love.

In everything, treat others as you would want them to treat you, for this fulfills the law and the prophets.

All generous giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or the slightest hint of change.

with such affection for you we were happy to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.

For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity to indulge your flesh, but through love serve one another.For the whole law can be summed up in a single commandment, namely,“ You must love your neighbor as yourself.”

to godliness, brotherly affection; to brotherly affection, unselfish love.

Finally then, brothers and sisters, we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received instruction from us about how you must live and please God( as you are in fact living) that you do so more and more.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the honor both now and on that eternal day.

The apostles said to the Lord,“ Increase our faith!”

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but I do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.And if I have prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.If I give away everything I own, and if I give over my body in order to boast, but do not have love, I receive no benefit.Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious. Love does not brag, it is not puffed up.It is not rude, it is not self- serving, it is not easily angered or resentful.It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth.It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.Love never ends. But if there are prophecies, they will be set aside; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be set aside.For we know in part, and we prophesy in part,but when what is perfect comes, the partial will be set aside.When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. But when I became an adult, I set aside childish ways.For now we see in a mirror indirectly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known.And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Now God who provides seed for the sower and bread for food will provide and multiply your supply of seed and will cause the harvest of your righteousness to grow.

Their idols are made of silver and gold– they are man-made.
