For what is our hope or joy or crown of boasting before our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not you?

夫我所望所樂所誇之冕何耶、非爾於我主耶穌臨時、而在其前乎、

蓋我所望、所喜、所詡、若戴冠冕者、何哉、非爾於吾主耶穌基督臨日乎、

蓋我儕所望所喜所誇之冕何哉、豈非爾曹於我主耶穌基督降臨時、得立於其前乎、

嗚呼、於主耶穌臨格時、孰為吾之希望、吾之欣慰、吾之榮冕乎？非爾也耶？

For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you?

What is our hope? What is our joy? When our Lord Jesus returns, what is the crown we will delight in? Isn’t it you?

After all, what gives us hope and joy, and what will be our proud reward and crown as we stand before our Lord Jesus when he returns? It is you!

For who is our hope or joy or crown of boasting in the presence of our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not you?

For who is our hope, or joy or crown of pride, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? Or is it not indeed you?

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of glorying? Are not even ye, before our Lord Jesus at his coming?

For who is our hope or joy or crown of boasting in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? Is it not you?

For what[ is] our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing?[ Are] not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?

For who is our hope or joy or crown to boast of before our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not of course you?

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Isn’t it even you, before our Lord Jesus at his coming?

Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved.

so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.

just as you did partially understand us— that on the day of our Lord Jesus you will boast of us as we will boast of you.

Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.

For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done.

“ Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.

You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the glory of children is their fathers.

waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

An excellent wife is the crown of her husband, but she who brings shame is like rottenness in his bones.

For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.

I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom:preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.

Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.

the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying,“ Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”

Righteous lips are the delight of a king, and he loves him who speaks what is right.

to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,which he will display at the proper time— he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords,

For you are our glory and joy.

Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angelsin flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,when he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power,so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers,

to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.In Christ Jesus, then, I have reason to be proud of my work for God.For I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to bring the Gentiles to obedience— by word and deed,by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God— so that from Jerusalem and all the way around to Illyricum I have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ;

She will place on your head a graceful garland; she will bestow on you a beautiful crown.”

Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,
