弟兄們，你們效法了猶太地區在基督耶穌裡屬神的各教會，因為你們也受了自己同胞的苦害，就像他們受了猶太人的苦害那樣。

弟兄们，你们好像犹太地在基督耶稣里神的众教会一样，他们怎样遭受犹太人的迫害，你们也照样遭受同族人的迫害。

因為弟兄們，你們也像在猶太地基督耶穌裏的上帝眾教會那樣了。因為你們在自己同國人手下所受的苦、也正如他們在猶太人手下所受過的一樣。

兄弟乎、爾嘗效在猶太屬基督耶穌之上帝會、以爾受苦於同族、猶彼於猶太人也、

兄弟效猶太宗基督耶穌上帝諸會、彼由猶太人受苦、爾由同族受苦亦然、

兄弟乎、爾曹曾效在猶太信基督耶穌之天主諸教會、蓋爾曹受苦於同族、如彼受苦於猶太人然、

兄弟乎、爾等實堪與猶太奉耶穌基督之諸教會、並駕齊驅。蓋爾等所遭受於爾國人之手者、與彼等所遭受於猶太人者、如出一轍也。

For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God’s churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own people the same things those churches suffered from the Jews

Brothers and sisters, you became like the members of God’s churches in Judea. They are believers in Christ Jesus, just as you are. Your own people made you suffer. You went through the same things the church members in Judea suffered from the Jews.

For you, brothers, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea. For you suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they did from the Jews,

And then, dear brothers and sisters, you suffered persecution from your own countrymen. In this way, you imitated the believers in God’s churches in Judea who, because of their belief in Christ Jesus, suffered from their own people, the Jews.

For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God’s churches in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, since you have also suffered the same things from people of your own country, just as they did from the Jews

For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, for you also endured the same sufferings at the hands of your own countrymen, even as they did from the Jews,

For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus. For you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, just as they did from the Judeans,

For ye, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judæa in Christ Jesus: for ye also suffered the same things of your own countrymen, even as they did of the Jews;

For you, brothers, became imitators of God’s churches in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, since you have also suffered the same things from people of your own country, just as they did from the Jews

For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they[ have] of the Jews:

For you became imitators, brothers and sisters, of God’s churches in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, because you too suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they in fact did from the Jews,

For you, brothers, became imitators of the assemblies of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus; for you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, even as they did from the Jews

事實上，我們還在你們那裡的時候，早就不斷地告訴你們，我們將要受患難，這果然應驗了，就像你們所知道的那樣。

有時候當眾受責罵、受患難；有時候陪伴那些受到同樣遭遇的人。的確，你們不但同情了那些被囚禁的人，而且當自己所擁有的被奪去時，你們也甘心接受了，因為知道你們在天上有更好的、長存的產業。

所以，我們自己在神的各教會中以你們誇耀，因為你們在一切的逼迫和患難中保持著你們的忍耐和信仰。

弟兄們，我們要你們明白神在馬其頓省各教會中所賜的恩典：在患難的極大考驗中，他們的喜樂之滿和貧窮之深都流露出來，歸入他們慷慨之心的財富。

那時，在基督裡的猶太各教會，還沒有見過我的面。

你們效法了我們，也效法了主，在大患難中，懷著聖靈所賜的喜樂接受了這話語。

基督在他肉身的日子裡，曾經用強烈的呼號和淚水，向能救他脫離死亡的那一位獻上了祈禱和懇求，就因著他的虔誠蒙了垂聽。他雖然是兒子，還是從他所受的苦難中，學了順從。

保羅、賽拉斯、提摩太，致那在神我們的父和主耶穌基督裡的帖撒羅尼迦人的教會：

可是當帖撒羅尼迦的猶太人知道保羅又在庇里亞城傳揚神的話語時，就來到那裡煽動、攪擾民眾。

這樣，教會在猶太、加利利、撒馬利亞全地得平安、得造就，並且懷著對主的敬畏之心不斷地前行，在聖靈的安慰中不斷地增長。

保羅和賽拉斯經過安菲波利斯和阿波羅尼亞，來到帖撒羅尼迦。那裡有一個猶太人的會堂。保羅照習慣進了會堂，一連三個安息日，引用經文向他們講論，講解並說明基督必須受難，然後從死人中復活，並且說：「我傳給你們的這位耶穌，就是基督。」他們當中有些人被說服了，就跟從了保羅和賽拉斯；不但有一大群敬神的希臘人，還有不少顯要的婦女。但那些不肯信從的猶太人嫉妒了，就招聚一些市井無賴，成群結夥，擾亂城市。他們闖進耶森的家，搜尋保羅和賽拉斯，要把他們帶到民眾那裡。可是找不到他們，就把耶森和幾位弟兄拉到地方官們那裡，喊叫說：「這些攪亂天下的，也來到這裡，耶森竟接待了他們！這些人都違背了凱撒的諭令，說另外有一個王，就是耶穌。」民眾和地方官們聽了這些話就驚慌不安，

掃羅也贊同殺害司提反。從那一天開始，有大逼迫臨到耶路撒冷的教會。除了使徒以外，他們都分散到猶太和撒馬利亞地區。

保羅、賽拉斯、提摩太，致那在父神和主耶穌基督裡的帖撒羅尼迦人的教會：願恩典與平安臨到你們！

掃羅仍然向主的門徒們口吐凶殺威嚇的話。他來到大祭司面前，

只是當照著主所分給每個人的，以及神所召喚每個人的去行事。我在各教會中也是這樣吩咐的。

阿納尼亞卻回答：「主啊，我聽許多人說過有關這個人在耶路撒冷對你的聖徒們所做的種種惡事。

大約在此時，希律王下手虐待教會中的一些人，用刀殺了約翰的哥哥雅各。他見這事使猶太人高興，就又去抓彼得；那時正是除酵節期間。

於是那些因司提反的事受患難而四散的信徒，就一直走到腓尼基地區、塞浦路斯島和安提阿。他們只向猶太人，而不向任何人傳講福音。

掃羅卻摧殘教會，闖進各家各戶，無論男女都拉去關進監獄。
