弟兄姊妹，你們的遭遇和猶太地區基督耶穌的眾教會的遭遇一樣。你們受到了自己同胞的迫害，他們也受到了猶太人的迫害。

弟兄们，你们曾效法犹太中在基督耶稣里神的各教会；因为你们也受了本地人的苦害，像他们受了犹太人的苦害一样。

弟兄们，你们与犹太地区上帝的各教会，就是在基督耶稣里的各教会，有同样的遭遇，因为你们也受了同胞的迫害，像他们受了犹太人的迫害一样。

弟兄们，你们与犹太地区神的各教会，就是在基督耶稣里的各教会，有同样的遭遇，因为你们也受了同胞的迫害，像他们受了犹太人的迫害一样。

弟兄們，你們效法了猶太地區在基督耶穌裡屬神的各教會，因為你們也受了自己同胞的苦害，就像他們受了猶太人的苦害那樣。

兄弟乎、爾嘗效在猶太屬基督耶穌之上帝會、以爾受苦於同族、猶彼於猶太人也、

兄弟效猶太宗基督耶穌上帝諸會、彼由猶太人受苦、爾由同族受苦亦然、

兄弟乎、爾曹曾效在猶太信基督耶穌之天主諸教會、蓋爾曹受苦於同族、如彼受苦於猶太人然、

兄弟乎、爾等實堪與猶太奉耶穌基督之諸教會、並駕齊驅。蓋爾等所遭受於爾國人之手者、與彼等所遭受於猶太人者、如出一轍也。

For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God’s churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own people the same things those churches suffered from the Jews

Brothers and sisters, you became like the members of God’s churches in Judea. They are believers in Christ Jesus, just as you are. Your own people made you suffer. You went through the same things the church members in Judea suffered from the Jews.

For you, brothers, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea. For you suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they did from the Jews,

And then, dear brothers and sisters, you suffered persecution from your own countrymen. In this way, you imitated the believers in God’s churches in Judea who, because of their belief in Christ Jesus, suffered from their own people, the Jews.

For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God’s churches in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, since you have also suffered the same things from people of your own country, just as they did from the Jews

For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, for you also endured the same sufferings at the hands of your own countrymen, even as they did from the Jews,

For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus. For you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, just as they did from the Judeans,

For ye, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judæa in Christ Jesus: for ye also suffered the same things of your own countrymen, even as they did of the Jews;

For you, brothers, became imitators of God’s churches in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, since you have also suffered the same things from people of your own country, just as they did from the Jews

For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they[ have] of the Jews:

For you became imitators, brothers and sisters, of God’s churches in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, because you too suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they in fact did from the Jews,

For you, brothers, became imitators of the assemblies of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus; for you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, even as they did from the Jews

我們在你們那裡時曾預先告訴過你們，我們會遭遇患難，你們知道後來果然如此。

有時候，你們在眾目睽睽之下被辱駡，受迫害；有時候，你們和遭受這樣苦難的人同舟共濟。你們體恤那些坐牢的人，即使你們的家業被搶奪，仍然甘心忍受，因為你們知道自己有更美的、永遠長存的家業。

因此，我們在上帝的眾教會中誇獎你們在各種迫害和患難中的堅忍和信心。

弟兄姊妹，我們現在要讓你們知道上帝向馬其頓各教會所施的恩典。他們雖然遭遇極大的患難，受盡熬煉，卻充滿了喜樂，在極度貧窮的情況下仍然十分慷慨樂捐。

那時，猶太境內基督的眾教會都還沒有見過我的面。

你們效法了我們和我們的主，儘管深受苦難，仍然懷著聖靈所賜的喜樂領受真道，

基督在世為人的時候，曾經聲淚俱下地祈求能救祂脫離死亡的上帝。祂因為敬虔而蒙了應允。基督雖然是上帝的兒子，仍然從所受的苦難中學習了順服。

我保羅同西拉和提摩太寫信給帖撒羅尼迦屬於我們父上帝和主耶穌基督的教會。

可是，帖撒羅尼迦的猶太人聽到保羅在庇哩亞宣揚上帝的道，就趕來慫恿、煽動眾人。

當時，猶太、加利利、撒瑪利亞各地的教會都很平安，得到了堅固。信徒們非常敬畏主，又得到聖靈的安慰，人數越來越多。

保羅和西拉經過暗非坡里和亞波羅尼亞，到了帖撒羅尼迦。那裡有猶太人的會堂。保羅照以往的習慣進入會堂，一連三個安息日引用聖經與當地人討論，解釋、證明基督必須受害，然後從死裡復活，又說：「我向你們宣講的這位耶穌就是基督。」不少人被說服，成為保羅和西拉的同道，其中有許多是敬畏上帝的希臘人和有地位的婦女。那些不信主的猶太人卻妒火中燒，他們召集了一群市井無賴，在城裡引發騷亂，闖進耶孫的家企圖把保羅和西拉揪出來示眾。他們找不到保羅和西拉，就把耶孫和幾個弟兄拉到當地官員面前，高喊：「那些攪亂天下的人到我們這裡來了，耶孫接待了他們。他們違抗凱撒的命令，說另有一個王叫耶穌。」百姓和當地官長聽後，深感不安。

當時，掃羅也贊成殺死司提凡。從那天起，耶路撒冷的教會開始遭到極大的迫害。除了使徒之外，門徒都分散到猶太和撒瑪利亞各地。

我保羅同西拉和提摩太寫信給帖撒羅尼迦屬於父上帝和主耶穌基督的教會。願恩典和平安歸給你們！

掃羅繼續用兇狠的話恐嚇主的門徒。他去見大祭司，

各人應當依照上帝的呼召和安排生活，這是我對各教會的吩咐。

亞拿尼亞回答說：「主啊！我聽見許多人說他對耶路撒冷的信徒大加迫害。

那時，希律王下手殘害教會的一些人，殺了約翰的哥哥雅各。他見這樣做能取悅猶太人，便又在除酵節期間拘捕了彼得，

司提凡殉道後，信徒們因受迫害而四散到各處，遠至腓尼基、塞浦路斯和安提阿，他們只向那裡的猶太人傳福音。

掃羅卻在摧毀教會，他挨家挨戶搜尋，把男女信徒抓進監裡。
