We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We remember you when we pray to our God and Father. Your work is produced by your faith. Your service is the result of your love. Your strength to continue comes from your hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these[ is] charity.

I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last[ to be] more than the first.

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of[ this] calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of[ his] goodness, and the work of faith with power:

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?But if we hope for that we see not,[ then] do we with patience wait for[ it].

Therefore, as ye abound in every[ thing, in] faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and[ in] all diligence, and[ in] your love to us,[ see] that ye abound in this grace also.I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent[ them] out another way?For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom[ be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:And[ that] he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

For this[ is] good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

For God[ is] not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Beloved, if our heart condemn us not,[ then] have we confidence toward God.

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

Knowing[ this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience.But let patience have[ her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed unto him[ but] a few days, for the love he had to her.

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten[ son],

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only[ use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received[ it] not[ as] the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they[ have] of the Jews:

I thank God, whom I serve from[ my] forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.

For[ God] giveth to a man that[ is] good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to[ him that is] good before God. This also[ is] vanity and vexation of spirit.

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon,[ son] of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.He saith to him again the second time, Simon,[ son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.He saith unto him the third time, Simon,[ son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

But[ let it be] the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible,[ even the ornament] of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.

Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if[ a] man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.

For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.Nevertheless I have[ somewhat] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

Charity suffereth long,[ and] is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

And not only[ so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;And patience, experience; and experience, hope:And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
