So the cook took up the thigh with what was on it and set it in front of Saul. Samuel said,“ Here is what has been kept for you. Eat, because it was set aside for you for this occasion from the time I said,‘ I have invited guests.’” And Saul dined with Samuel that day.

So the cook went and got a choice piece of thigh. He set it in front of Saul. Samuel said,“ Here is what has been kept for you. Eat it. It was put to one side for you for this special occasion. We’ve saved it for you ever since I invited the guests.” And Saul ate with Samuel that day.

So the cook took up the leg and what was on it and set them before Saul. And Samuel said,“ See, what was kept is set before you. Eat, because it was kept for you until the hour appointed, that you might eat with the guests.” So Saul ate with Samuel that day.

So the cook brought in the meat and placed it before Saul.“ Go ahead and eat it,” Samuel said.“ I was saving it for you even before I invited these others!” So Saul ate with Samuel that day.

So the cook took up the thigh with its upper part and set it before Saul. And Samuel said,“ Here it is, what was kept back. It was set apart for you. Eat; for until this time it has been kept for you, since I said I invited the people.” So Saul ate with Samuel that day.

And Samuel said, Behold, that which hath been reserved! set it before thee and eat; because unto the appointed time hath it been kept for thee, for I said, I have invited the people. So Saul did eat with Samuel that day.

And the cook took up the shoulder, and[ that] which[ was] upon it, and set[ it] before Saul. And[ Samuel] said, Behold that which is left! set[ it] before thee,[ and] eat: for unto this time hath it been kept for thee since I said, I have invited the people. So Saul did eat with Samuel that day.

The cook took up the thigh, and that which was on it, and set it before Saul. Samuel said,“ Behold, that which has been reserved! Set it before yourself and eat; because it has been kept for you for the appointed time, for I said,‘ I have invited the people.’” So Saul ate with Samuel that day.

You are to give the right thigh to the priest as a contribution from your fellowship sacrifices.The son of Aaron who presents the blood of the fellowship offering and the fat will have the right thigh as a portion.

Place the pieces of meat in it, every good piece— thigh and shoulder. Fill it with choice bones.

“ Take the fat from the ram, the fat tail, the fat covering the entrails, the fatty lobe of the liver, the two kidneys and the fat on them, and the right thigh( since this is a ram for ordination);

Consecrate for Aaron and his sons the breast of the presentation offering that is waved and the thigh of the contribution that is lifted up from the ram of ordination.

But their meat belongs to you. It belongs to you like the breast of the presentation offering and the right thigh.
