As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you.

They are doing just as they have always done. They have deserted me and served other gods. They have done that from the time I brought them up out of Egypt until this day. Now they are deserting you too.

According to all the deeds that they have done, from the day I brought them up out of Egypt even to this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are also doing to you.

他們不照耶和華所吩咐的滅絕外邦人，反倒與列國相交，學習他們的行為，事奉他們的偶像，這就成了自己的圈套。他們把自己的兒女祭祀鬼魔，流無辜人的血，就是自己兒女的血，用他們祭祀迦南的偶像，那地就被血玷污了。這樣，他們被自己所做的玷污了，在行為上犯了淫亂。耶和華的怒氣向他的百姓發作，他憎惡自己的產業，

以色列人對他們說：「我們寧願在埃及地死在耶和華手中！那時我們坐在肉鍋旁，吃餅得飽。你們卻將我們領出來，到這曠野，要叫這全會眾都餓死啊！」

於是耶和華的怒氣向以色列發作，說：「因為這國違背我吩咐他們列祖當守的約，不聽從我的話，

反倒在曠野起了貪婪之心，在荒地試探上帝。他將他們所求的賜給他們，卻使他們心靈軟弱。他們在營中嫉妒摩西和耶和華的聖者亞倫。地就裂開，吞下大坍，掩蓋亞比蘭一夥的人。有火在他們黨中點燃，有火焰燒燬了惡人。他們在何烈山造了牛犢，叩拜鑄成的像，將他們榮耀的主換為吃草之牛的像，忘了上帝－他們的救主，就是曾在埃及行大事，

百姓見摩西遲遲不下山，就聚集到亞倫那裏，對他說：「起來！為我們造神明，在我們前面引路，因為領我們出埃及地的那個摩西，我們不知道他遭遇了甚麼事。」

「你們這硬着頸項，心與耳未受割禮的人哪，時常抗拒聖靈！你們的祖宗怎樣，你們也怎樣。先知中有哪一個不是受你們祖宗的迫害呢？他們把預先宣告那義者要來的人殺了。如今你們成了那義者的出賣者和兇手了。你們領受了天使所傳佈的律法，竟不遵守。」

以笏死後，以色列人又行耶和華眼中看為惡的事。

他們仍舊試探，悖逆至高的上帝，不遵守他的法度，反倒退後，行詭詐，像他們的祖宗一樣，他們翻轉，如同鬆弛的弓，以丘壇惹他發怒，以雕刻的偶像使他忌恨。上帝聽見就發怒，全然棄絕了以色列，

你們不可與這地的居民立約，要拆毀他們的祭壇。』你們竟沒有聽從我的話。你們為何這樣做呢！因此我說：『我必不將他們從你們面前趕出。他們必作你們肋下的荊棘，他們的神明必成為你們的圈套。』」

以色列人中的二百五十個領袖，就是有名望、從會眾中選出來的人，在摩西面前一同起來，聚集攻擊摩西、亞倫，說：「你們太過分了！全會眾人人都成為聖，耶和華也在他們中間。你們為甚麼抬高自己，在耶和華的會眾之上呢？」

以色列眾人向摩西和亞倫發怨言，全會眾對他們說：「我們寧願死在埃及地，寧願死在這曠野！耶和華為甚麼要把我們領到那地，讓我們倒在刀下呢？我們的妻子和孩子必成為擄物。我們回埃及去豈不更好嗎？」他們彼此說：「我們不如選一個領袖，回埃及去吧！」

第二天，以色列全會眾都向摩西、亞倫發怨言說：「你們殺了耶和華的百姓了。」

百姓就與摩西爭鬧，說：「給我們水喝吧！」摩西對他們說：「你們為甚麼與我爭鬧呢？你們為甚麼試探耶和華呢？」

以色列人又行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，耶和華就把他們交在米甸手裏七年。

自從我認識你們的日子以來，你們常常悖逆耶和華。

他們對摩西說：「難道埃及沒有墳地，你要把我們帶來死在曠野嗎？你為甚麼這樣待我們，將我們從埃及領出來呢？我們在埃及豈沒有對你說過，不要攪擾我們，讓我們服事埃及人嗎？因為服事埃及人總比死在曠野好。」
