As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you.

They are doing just as they have always done. They have deserted me and served other gods. They have done that from the time I brought them up out of Egypt until this day. Now they are deserting you too.

According to all the deeds that they have done, from the day I brought them up out of Egypt even to this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are also doing to you.

Ever since I brought them from Egypt they have continually abandoned me and followed other gods. And now they are giving you the same treatment.

他們不照耶和華所吩咐的滅絕外邦人，反與他們混雜相合，學習他們的行為，事奉他們的偶像，這就成了自己的網羅，把自己的兒女祭祀鬼魔，流無辜人的血，就是自己兒女的血，把他們祭祀迦南的偶像，那地就被血污穢了。這樣，他們被自己所做的污穢了，在行為上犯了邪淫。所以，耶和華的怒氣向他的百姓發作，憎惡他的產業，

說：「巴不得我們早死在埃及地、耶和華的手下；那時我們坐在肉鍋旁邊，吃得飽足。你們將我們領出來，到這曠野，是要叫這全會眾都餓死啊！」

於是耶和華的怒氣向以色列人發作。他說：「因這民違背我吩咐他們列祖所守的約，不聽從我的話，

反倒在曠野大起慾心，在荒地試探神。他將他們所求的賜給他們，卻使他們的心靈軟弱。他們又在營中嫉妒摩西和耶和華的聖者亞倫。地裂開，吞下大坍，掩蓋亞比蘭一黨的人。有火在他們的黨中發起；有火焰燒毀了惡人。他們在何烈山造了牛犢，叩拜鑄成的像。如此將他們榮耀的主換為吃草之牛的像，忘了神－他們的救主；他曾在埃及行大事，

百姓見摩西遲延不下山，就大家聚集到亞倫那裏，對他說：「起來！為我們做神像，可以在我們前面引路；因為領我們出埃及地的那個摩西，我們不知道他遭了甚麼事。」

「你們這硬着頸項、心與耳未受割禮的人，常時抗拒聖靈！你們的祖宗怎樣，你們也怎樣。哪一個先知不是你們祖宗逼迫呢？他們也把預先傳說那義者要來的人殺了；如今你們又把那義者賣了，殺了。你們受了天使所傳的律法，竟不遵守。」

以笏死後，以色列人又行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，

他們仍舊試探、悖逆至高的神，不守他的法度，反倒退後，行詭詐，像他們的祖宗一樣；他們改變，如同翻背的弓。因他們的邱壇惹了他的怒氣；因他們雕刻的偶像觸動他的憤恨。神聽見就發怒，極其憎惡以色列人。

你們也不可與這地的居民立約，要拆毀他們的祭壇。你們竟沒有聽從我的話！為何這樣行呢？』因此我又說：『我必不將他們從你們面前趕出；他們必作你們肋下的荊棘。他們的神必作你們的網羅。』」

並以色列會中的二百五十個首領，就是有名望選入會中的人，在摩西面前一同起來，聚集攻擊摩西、亞倫，說：「你們擅自專權！全會眾個個既是聖潔，耶和華也在他們中間，你們為甚麼自高，超過耶和華的會眾呢？」

以色列眾人向摩西、亞倫發怨言；全會眾對他們說：「巴不得我們早死在埃及地，或是死在這曠野。耶和華為甚麼把我們領到那地，使我們倒在刀下呢？我們的妻子和孩子必被擄掠。我們回埃及去豈不好嗎？」眾人彼此說：「我們不如立一個首領回埃及去吧！」

第二天，以色列全會眾都向摩西、亞倫發怨言說：「你們殺了耶和華的百姓了。」

所以與摩西爭鬧，說：「給我們水喝吧！」摩西對他們說：「你們為甚麼與我爭鬧？為甚麼試探耶和華呢？」

以色列人又行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，耶和華就把他們交在米甸人手裏七年。

自從我認識你們以來，你們常常悖逆耶和華。

他們對摩西說：「難道在埃及沒有墳地，你把我們帶來死在曠野嗎？你為甚麼這樣待我們，將我們從埃及領出來呢？我們在埃及豈沒有對你說過，不要攪擾我們，容我們服事埃及人嗎？因為服事埃及人比死在曠野還好。」
