那时你们必因所选的王哀求耶和华，耶和华却不应允你们。”

那日，你们必因自己所选的王哀求耶和华，但那日耶和华却不应允你们。”

将来你们会因所选之王的压迫而呼求耶和华，耶和华却不会垂听你们。”

到时，你们必因你们为自己拣选的王而哀求，那时耶和华却不应允你们。”

那時你們必因所選的王哀求耶和華，耶和華卻不應允你們。」

是時爾必因所簡之王而呼籲、惟耶和華不俞允焉、

越至後日、爾必因所簡之王呼籲於上、惟耶和華不俯聞焉。

斯時也、爾必因所選之王而呼籲主、惟主不俯聽爾、

When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, but the Lord will not answer you in that day.”

When you lift up your hands in prayer, I will refuse to look at you; even if you offer countless prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are covered with blood.

since you neglected all my counsel and did not accept my correction,I, in turn, will laugh at your calamity. I will mock when terror strikes you,when terror strikes you like a storm and your calamity comes like a whirlwind, when trouble and stress overcome you.Then they will call me, but I won’t answer; they will search for me, but won’t find me.

They will wander through the land, dejected and hungry. When they are famished, they will become enraged, and, looking upward, will curse their king and their God.

once the homeowner gets up and shuts the door. Then you will stand outside and knock on the door, saying,‘ Lord, open up for us!’ He will answer you,‘ I don’t know you or where you’re from.’

Will God hear his cry when distress comes on him?

The one who shuts his ears to the cry of the poor will himself also call out and not be answered.

They cry for help, but there is no one to save them— they cry to the Lord, but He does not answer them.
