又造了倉棧、來收藏五穀的出產、新酒和新油；並為各類牲口造棚子，為羊羣立圈。他又為自己造了屯城，又得了許多羊羣牛羣等牲畜；因為上帝賜給他極多的活財物。

所羅門一天所用的食物是細麵三十歌珥、粗麵六十歌珥、肥牛十隻，牧場的牛二十隻、羊一百隻，還有鹿、瞪羚羊、麅子，和肥禽。
