又建造倉庫，收藏五穀、新酒和油；又為各類牲畜蓋棚欄、羊圈。他又為自己建造城鎮，並且擁有大批牛羊牲口，因為神賜給他極多的財物。

所羅門每天的食物是細麵粉五千公升、粗麵粉一萬公升、肥牛十頭、草場的牛二十頭、羊一百隻，此外還有鹿、羚羊、麅子和肥禽。
